-Marinette

"Marinette! Can you come down and help us with the bakery?" Mom calls.

"Okay! I'm coming!" I put down my pencil and rush downstairs.

"Maman! Papa! What do you want me to do?" I ask, entering the bakery.

"Can you bake some cupcakes?" Mom asks.

"Sure." I head back upstairs to our kitchen.

"First, make the batter," I recite.

I reach for the cabinet and open it.

Unfortunately for me, the pots and bowls weren't placed in the cabinet properly, and they tumble down and hit me on the head on their way to the floor.

And I fall over and land on my butt.

"Ow . . ." I mumble.

"Honey, are you okay?" Mom comes upstairs.

"Yeah, I am. I just had a bit of an accident and- oh, OW!" I rub my temples, trying to kill the throbbing headache that was forming.

"Oh, Marinette, are you sure?" Mom walks up to me.

"Ow- I have a major headache, but that's it -ow!" I yelp.

"Come on, let's get you to a doctor," Mom helps me up

"Um, are you sure?" I ask.

"Of course I am sure!" She exclaims.

We both walk downstairs.

"Hey, Tom, can you watch the bakery for a bit? Marinette had an accident and I am taking her to the doctor's office," Mom explains.

"Sure, honey," Dad replies.

Mom and I walk to the doc's office and enter it.

"Hi, my daughter had an accident and we are here for a check-up," Mom states.

(A/N: I'm not sure it's that easy.)

"Alright, fill this out and then give it back," the receptionist says and hands Mom a clipboard.

Mom and I take seats and Mom fills the forms out.

A few minutes later, she hands the clipboard back to the receptionist.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Mom asks me, sitting back down.

"Yeah, I am 100% sure. It's just a headache," I assure her.

We talk about my designs for a bit, then a nurse opens the door.

"Mlle. Dupain-Cheng!" She says.

Mom and I get up and walk over to the door.

"You'll be in room 4," the nurse informs us.

She leads us to room 4 and opens the door.

"Thanks!" I say.

Mom repeats what I say and the nurse just nods her head.

We head to room 4 and walk inside.

"So . . ." the nurse says.

(Le time skip)

"Nothing seems to be wrong with her. But I want you to watch out for anything, just in case," the doctor explains to Mom.

Mom listens carefully and nods seriously.

"And that's it. You are both free to go," the doc gets up and walks out, closing the door behind him.
