Chapter 3

I parked my car at the end of the street and rang the doorbell.The door opened and Mrs. Hale looked at me while smiling and she said"I am so glad you're here ,we've been receiving death threats everyday, so we decided to hire a full-time bodyguard but I didn't expect a girl,but never mind .The more , the merrier"I smiled politely and said"Don't worry,I will be on the lookout for any strange happenings but in the meantime please give me all the death threats that you receive everyday"She then said "Oh,how rude of me ,you must be freezing to death come in please make yourself comfortable,your room is upstairs .It is the fourth door on the left'"Thank you,have a nice day ma'am"she said"You too,and please call me Natasha , you are free to wander around .Dinner will be ready at 7 o'clock ."I smiled and walked up the stairs .I found my room and gasped it was absolutely amazing !There was a king sized bed in the middle of a room , the carpet was a maroon colour, there was a giant plasma tv,a desk at the corner, a big couch and a walk-in closet.The bathroom even has a Jacuzzi .I ran across the room and jumped and landed on the bed.The bed was really soft and I sighed and said"Heaven ".I quickly took a shower and got dressed so I had more time to wander around.I decided to find the game room first.I opened the door on the opposite side of mine only to find another bedroom that was twice the size of mine.I walked up another flight of stairs to another level which seems to be filled with doors."So many doors,'I muttered.The entire place felt like a maze with each floor leading to more doors.I randomly chose a door and went in, it was a room that was quite dim and a floral scent filled the air.There was two beds beside each other and a table beside the beds .There were fancy massage oils that smelled really good,and bottles of cream which I assume must be for facials.I exited the rooms and heard male voices down the hall so I eavesdropped outside."You don't understand!I worked so hard for this,you can't just take it all away from me at once.I don't understand what I did to make you so angry," 'I'm angry because you did not get the job done.There is still one copy of the document that is not destroyed,it can easily be leaked to the public and be made international news.I didn't pay you a big amount of money for nothing."Now,this was really interesting,what would the powerful Mr Hale who has every single thing in the world be hiding from everyone? There is more to this that meets the eye.I 'll have to do more investigating then. Now, I better leave before they here me.I continued walking until I bumped into a person . I looked up to see a pair of blue eyes that are looking at me mischievously."Hello, what are you doing in my house miss mysterious." And then he winked and smirked.i looked at him from head to toe and he was quite tall and muscular. He had brown hair and blue eyes ."Done checking me out yet?i mean I know I am handsome but you didn't need to make it that obvious," he smirked ." I was merely looking at you to see if you are an intruder. As to what I am doing In this house is none of your business!". I shouted . "My , my you're a feisty one . I like it ." He said."Get out of my way Mr. Blue eyes or I 'll hurt you !"I said. I mean this guy was egotistical , arrogant and annoying. I haven't even met him for longer than 5 minutes and I can't stand him."So, tell me what is your name mystery girl?"he asked. "Why don't you tell me what your name is since I 'm suppose to be mystery girl ?" I shot back at him. "I'm Blake Hale, at your service ," he said and then grinned. " I am Marrisa Thompson your new bodyguard. Now will you please let me pass?" I asked sweetly."Well, since you asked so nicely I will let you pass" his grin got even wider as he let me pass."I will be seeing you later at dinner ," I nodded at him and walked pass him.
