Chapter 3

POV Misty

Cilan finished breakfast and Iris and Ash ran me over trying to get food. Cilan helped me up.

"Thank Cilan your the best." I say and Ash mumbled something.

"Here Misty, I put a side pancakes for you." He says,

"You're such a gentileman." I say, then Ash gave me a mad look.

"Hey I can be a gentileman too." He whines,

"Men don't whine." I say,

"When are we leaving?" Ash changes the subject,

"Soon. We should get there by nightfall." Cilan says,

"Hey Cilan do you have any pokemon food. For Bell, Green and Gallade." Lula asks,

"Yeah, here." he says, handing Lula the food.

"So everyone let's get packing we got a lot of walking to do." Ash says rushing us.

"Ok, let me just fix....." he gave me no time to finish. He starting running and everyone ran behind him trying to catch up. He finally got so tired and sat on a bench. I sat next to him. "Ash I think you dislocated my arm when you tried to move us." I say,

"I'm sorry Misty, here this should feel nice." Ash says and gets off the bench amd rubs my shoulders. He never does that. It's so nice.

"Ash it feels so nice." I say,

"I know, Mist." He says, my wrist starts buzzing. I look down and it's my watch, and I forgot the Professor had been playing aroung with it and now I can make phone calls from it. I answer it. It's Mrs. Ketchem?

"Ash it's your mom." I say and hand Ash my wrist.

"Hi Mom." Ash says,

"Ash! Why haven't you called me? I had to send Misty with this fancy thing from the professor to finally talk to you. And have you been changing your....." Ash covered the speaker muteing his mom. I knew what she was gonna say. Then even though Ash is coving the speakers we heard the next part. "ASH KETCHEM DON'T YOU COVER MY SPEAKER! I AM TRYING TO TALK TO YOU! ASH WHEN YOU COME HOME YOU HAVE TO STAY HOME FOR A WEEK, I CAN'T PUNISH YOU WHILE YOU'RE IN UNOVA! BUT THE MINUTE YOU STEP BACK INTO KANTO, YOUR GROUNDED! Now sweetheart give me back to Misty." She says and I take my hand back.

"Yes Mom." Ash says,

"Misty dear, you look wonderful." Mrs. Ketchem says,

"Thanks Mrs. Ketchem." I say,

"Misty, how many times have I told you to call me Delia." She says,

"Thank you Delia." I say,

"So Misty please make sure that Ash calls me when you get to the next pokemon center. Make sure he changes his clothes and takes a shower. Make sure he does his best in each and every battle. And make sure he doesn't eat to much. I know you won't let me down Misty. Bye for now." Delia says and hung up.

"That's my mom everyone." Ash says blushing, "She goes from happy to angry in a heartbeat."

"Yeah. We could see." Iris says,

"She get's worst." Ash says,

"When it comes to her garden, she get's crazy, her and her Mr. Mine." I say,

"Ash remind me never to get on your mom's bad side." Cilan says,

"So let's get going shall we?" Lula says,

"Yep." We all say and continue walking.

"So Lula you have any questions for us, since we have been asking you so many questions?" I ask,

"Yeah I do. Iris who gave you Axew?" Lula asks,

"The village elder, from my village." Iris says,

"He's so cute." Lula says and pets him. "So Cilan you and your three brothers, Chili and Cress all have a Pansage, Panseer and Panpour so which one of you is the strongest?" She asks,

"Evaluation Time!" Cilan cheers.

"Oh boy!" Iris yells,

"My brothers and I are all very strong in our own ways. Chili packs a punch in offense like a red hot chili pepper. But his defense needs work. Cress'a recipe is for Panpour to dodge and counterattack more than focusing on offense. Me, I'm more of a planner. I am like the waiter and my menu is different ways to attack my opponent. You see I let the Pokemon have a turn or two to attack, them I can see how the Pokemon and the trainer work. I trained Pansage to take some attacks then when the time is right. We go all out and see what happens from there. So none of us are better than another, we all have different battle plans, it's like comparing soup to stake to vegetables. They can't compare with each other." Cilan says,

"That was a brilliant way to say it." I say,

"Yeah. So if I challenge your gym next year will you be there?" Lula says,

"Definitely!" Cilan says,

"Misty I can be brilliant too." Ash pouts.

"I know Ash. But can't I enjoy someone words without you getting jealous." I say,

"I'm not jealous." Ash says,

"Ash can you go in my bag and get me some water." I say pointing to my bad on the ground.

"Sure." He says and goes in my bag and pulls out my necklace someone gave me. "Misty who gave you this?" He asks,

"Nobody." I lie.

"It says, Misty you will always dance in my heart. But your leads to Ash. Misty! Did Rudy give you this?" Ash yelled.

"Yeah, his sister challenged my gym and he gave it to me." I say,

"Why do you have it?" Ash asks,

"It's the only piece of jewelry I have ever gotten." I say,

"Oh, well I can fix that." Ash says,

"Ash it has to mean something, you can't just buy me something you idiot." I say,

"POV Ash

Misty walked ahead with Lula and Iris, so I was left with Cilan.

"Cilan I need to know where can I get a necklace?" I ask,

"Almost anywhere Ash." Cilan says,

"Well if I like get everything ready, can you pick it up for me?' I ask,

"Sure Ash, if you use your pokedex you can order it now." He says,

"Thanks." I say and use my pokedex. I get to the part for the stores website. I decided on a heart locket. Inside the locket was something I wanted to say. Just it took way to long to think of it.

Misty you are the missing piece to my puzzle.

No I would never say that.

Misty we go together like a fork and spoon.

Now I sound like Cilan. Last try.

That's me simply and not fancy. Because I don't really talk like that. I show Cilan.

"She will like that." Cilan says,

"Great!" I say and order it.

POV Misty

Iris and Lula are asking all kinds of questions.

"Misty who is Rudy?" Iris asks,

"He is a gym leader from the Orange islands. He had a big crush on me. But so did Ash and I decided to stay with Ash.

"Oh. You should have stayed with Rudy." Lula jokes.

"But then I would have never met you guys." I laugh.
