Shine Bright Like A Diamond

I yawned and walked out my room, then noticed that the guy was not where I left him. I immediately rushed out the door to find him hobbling away.

"Ay! Nope! You're not leaving yet!" I say, running after him and pushing him back inside, "Besides, you left your shirt."

He just gave me a weird look, "What?"

"Well, you're obviously in no condition to travel, and I won't let you leave till you're better!" I flash a toothy grin.

"Do you have any idea who I am?"

"Nope, but I just got here yesterday so I don't know anybody!"

"..... Oh, I'm uhhhh, Brian." he says as I sit him at the table.

"Well, uhhhh Brian," I laugh, "I'm Blue! What do you want for breakfast?"

"I'm fine."

"No you're not! I'm making eggs, and you're gonna eat em!" I point my spatula at him like a sword.

He just rolls his eyes, I think, I just realized he's wearing sunglasses. Dang, I need to pay attention.

"Soooo, what's with da shades?" I asks reaching for them.

He suddenly pulls out a diamond sword, "Touch them and I'll kill you."

"MEEP!! Fine, fine." I sigh, "So.... Brian, tell me bout yourself."

"Well.... I have two brothers, but we don't exactly "get along" anymore...."

I hug him, "Awwwww! That's soooo sad! I'm an only child so I don't get to have a relationship like a brother or sister." I sigh, "That is, until I found out about Minecraft! It opened me up to a new world, and I found friends." I smile as I pet a barking Redd.

I get up and stretch, "Anyway, wanna come help me mine some ores? I don't want you to feel left out."

He laughs, "Lemme guess you don't want to leave me alone in your house cause you don't know me yet and you don't want me to steal your diamonds?"

I looked away, "Nooooo- yes."

He got up and ruffled my hair, "Don't worry squirt, I'll come with ya."

I crosse my arms and huffed, "Hey! I'm not short!"

"Sure you aren't, I'll just go get my shirt."

I blushed when I realized that he hasn't been wearing a shirt this entire time, then I blush even deeper when I realized I hugged him while he was shirtless. Brian comes in and laughs at my red face and we set off.

Yup, this is gonna be a looooong recovery.
