SYNOPSIS

Lia, a typical sophomore whose aiming to achieve her goals in life, studying as scholar in Philippine Normal University to become a teacher. Ever since she was a kid it was her dream, to teach children. But what she didn't know is it isn't going to be easy as she thought. Patience is a must. Lia is diligent and persistent in achieving her dream, she stepped aside her love life and prioritized her studies.

Her past relationship didn't went well and her partner's toxic so she decided to end it. Though Lia doesn't regret her decision after seeing his ex kissing a girl. With the help of Vanessa, her best friend, she overcome those challenges in her life including the mind-blowing revelations in her family and financial problems.

But then again, a friend of Vanessa showed up. Gabriel Del Rosario, the second son of the Del Rosario's, a third year college student, practice teaching, same course to Lia. He's the son of their City Mayor, though his keeping himself low profile because he doesn't want any special treatment or whatsoever.

Their paths crossed when Vanessa introduced Gab to Lia. It was purely unintentional tho.

Does Lia ready to fall again? to hurt again? and to love again despite of her dark and unsolved past?

Is Gabriel ready to fix each and every broken piece of Lia? or will he only crush and destroy Lia even more?

PROLOGUE

"Pass your papers now for those who have finished theirs. You may take your break."

I heard the sighs of my class as I said those words. They just finished four consecutive periodical exams so I can understand their sighs. They have another exam to take after lunch break so I immediately arranged the papers to be distributed later.

There were only a few students in the classroom 'cause others had already gone out to eat.

"Ma'am Ocampo, ano pong subject ang sunod na ite-take?"

I looked at Leiyah - my student. I smiled at her then replied. "Mathematics."

She nodded before thanking and then went back to her desk and put away the scattered papers and put them inside her small bag.

Napangiti ako saka sinilip ang phone ko sa mesa nang mag-vibrate ito. It was Vanessa.
