Lauren-
I was on my way home from leaving Sasha and Raheem's house. This wedding planning is really getting to me . I'm always stress, kind of behind on work juat everything. I pulled up to my apartment building and park and then grab my bags before getting out. I didn't feel like being around Black tonight and I just wanted to come home, eat and then take a bubble bath.
I got off the elevator and walk down the hall to my door. I was thinking I would take off tomorrow just so I could sleep in.I unlock the door and I could smell food cooking. I rolled my eyes.Sometimes I wish I didn't give him a key but whatever.
"Babe thats you", He yelled from the kitchen.
Me and Sasha old apartment is just alike while it's in the same building.I walk down the hall and drop my bag off next to the couch.I sat on the couch and closed my eyes.
"Babe", I heard black say.
I open my eyes and looked up.
"Huh", I said.
"What's wrong", he asked.
"Im tired and I didn't think you was going to be here", I said truthfully.
Its not that I didn't want him here its just I want to come home alone today.
I know this isn't going to happen when we get married but we not married now so it could happen now . He gave me a look and then went back into the kitchen and finish cooking.
I got up and walk into my bedroom. I looked in my dresser for some shorts just to put on before I take my bath.I took ever off and but on my shorts and tshirt and my slippers. I walk back into the kitchen and Black was it at the island eating.I made my plate and sat next to him.I said grace and start eating. We didn't talk the whole time.After he finish he went into the room. I got up and start cleaning.
After I was finish I went into my room to see Black knocked out in the middle of my bed. I shook my head and walk into the bathroom. I started my bath water before walkong back into my room.I got all the things I needed and went back.I lit my candles and cut off the lights. I took everything off and step in. I haven't took a bath in a minute so it felt good.
I was on my phone looking at old pictures of Black and I. We was so young but that was my baby and you couldn't tell us nothing about each other.I live in Philadelphia my whole life. This was all I knew, thought and breath. I was raised in a good home we wasn't the richest family but we was living good. My dad did sell drugs and my mom work at a dry cleaners. My mom didn't have to work but she did anyways. I have a little brother and sister their twins and their both seniors in hogh school. Education is important to my parents no more what. We couldn't go outside or evwn think about doing anything until our homework was done and we ate dinner. My dad retired the drug game after I went to college he wanted to make sure I was straight for my 7 years of college I was going to do to become a lawyer.
I met Black at school. He was the new dude coming in he was from New Jersey and was coming down here cause he got into some trouble. He was quite and really didn't say much. Since I was the president of the school I had to show him around. He wasn't rude just to his self. I remember when he fought this dude cause dude was talking crazy.Dude had two black eyes and lip was busted. He got suspended for a week.Since.we live close I had to make sure he got homework and class note.We start getting close and then start dating.
When we was tonight it felt like he was right. He taught me so much about myself that I didn't know. The deep conversation we would have for hours was truthfully. The way he talk to me has we are equal and we in this relationship together. I have him my virginity on prom night. It was the best we made love all night.
After graduation I went off to school and Black went to start selling drugs with Raheem.I didn't know what was going on . People would tell him thay Black out hwre getting momey bit everytime I would ask we would get into and he would leave.I found out he was selling when he called me from jail.That day I broke up with him. I couldn't be with someone that was doing that while im trying to better myself.So we stop talking. I came back and boy when I tell you that he was looking good.We talk here and there but nothing to serious.
When Sasha was talking about Raheem it just made me think how much I miss Black. When we met up for dinner. I was nervous he came off calm and ready to talk.He put everything on the table and said he wanted to work on us.I agree and its been us ever since.
I got out the tub after washing myself up.I walk into the room with my towel on.Black was still sleep so I dried off and then but on some panties and a shirt. I guess hes not leaving tonight. I climb into bed and got under the covers. Black moves a little and I move closer to him.He move again and I move with him.
"Mane move", He mumbled.
"Why stop", I said.
"Naw mane move".
He got up and put on his pants and shoes. He grab his jacket and walk out the room. I for up amd follow after him.I know at first I didn't want him here but now I'm okay with it.
"Baby stop", I aaid grabbing his arm.
He turned around giving me that look like did I just touch him.I let go and watch him walk out.
