I've have Zepeto for a good while now. It's a great app for me personally to style my creation/ character. Recently it occurred to me that I should do more with this app. At that point I'd had these four characters including Coby's, and I hadn't done anything special with them. Styling is great but I thought I should add meaning to them. With that said, I decided  to make  a representation of black girls. Starting with their skin tone, then moving on to their eye colours. It was difficult having one character with blue eyes as  blue eyes are seen as the superior eyes and have left a scar on black people in terms of beauty standards. However, it would've been a shame if I hadn't included the black girls around the world who do have blue eyes. Representation is everything and I wanted to do something with meaning and this is of great importance to me.

With my light skinned character, I had given her a skin condition. This also represents something of importance to me. It's close to me. I have a skin condition and have had it since I was younger. I don't feel confident with it. When I was younger it was on my face as well and some students in high school thought I was bleaching my skin as it made my skin seem lighter but I didn't know the science behind it. All I knew was that the condition when spreading across my face made my skin lighter in the patches of it. Not all black skin is smooth and flawless. I wanted to represent black girls with skin like mine.

Blue
Light brown
Dark brown

Before I had all the characters have dark brown  eyes as I wanted to show love to all of us black girls who don't have what everyone view as beautiful eyes. Nevertheless, if I wanted to show representation, that's what I needed to fulfil.

My second to last character has freckles on her cheeks but you can't really see them.

This was also a way for me to show how I'd style myself or my aesthetics and I love it. I've been having lots of fun.

I've also gotten to style my friend and her boo which I enjoyed much,
