As soon as the bell rang, all of the students in the Ivy class run outside as if there was a ticking bomb that will explode if they don't get out in five minutes. Pfft...

Funny.

At least that's what Doyoung thought.

During the whole class today, Yerin didn't even give a glance towards Doyoung as if she was sitting on her own. At first, Doyoung thought that Yerin is the type that goes to school just because she didn't want any problems with her parents because she literally ignores all of the questions Doyoung had asked her. but he is completely wrong when he saw Yerin answer the full equation on the board during their math class. She even smiles when the teacher praises her!

As school ended, the first and last conversation he made with Yerin is when she told him to stay away from her during the class after lunch as in the time when Doyoung just arrives at the school.

"Three"

Yerin suddenly said with her eyes closed loud enough to stop Doyoung from whatever he was doing.

"I'm sorry?"

Instead of an answer, Doyoung only gets silence from the girl.

"Two"

Doyoung thought it was weird for her to suddenly started counting, it's not loud nor it was slow as if it was meant for someone near them, but the fact that everyone has already left the class and the said girl made it clear that she didn't want anything to do with him confuse Doyoung even more, so he chooses to brushed it away.

Sigh,

"One"

Yerin said after opening her eyes.

She tilts her head to see Doyoung standing there with worried plastered on his face. but because of the promise he already made with the girl, he chooses to walk away.

Before he could get out of the class, the door slam closed featuring a girl leaning at the wall beside it.

"Hi, new friend~"

"He..He...Hello," Doyoung replied, he doesn't know who she is but his gut feeling told him to stay a little bit further from the girl in front of him, so he takes a few steps back to widen the space between them. As he moves further he meets another pair of feet that belongs to another girl which he recognizes as the one who asked a lot of questions throughout their lessons.

"Hello! My name is Geumbi! I think you already know that because a lot of teachers mentioned my name when I ask questions during classes and I already know your name since you introduce yourselves in front of the whole class after lunch just now and I doubt that you talked to any of the students since you are alone now so that's mean that I'm your first friend!"

Geumbi said not letting Doyoung spit out even one word. Confused, Doyoung only nods his head slowly. Being impatient as she is, Geumbi grabs Doyoung's hand intended in making a handshake with him.

"You should at least let him sit first, Dumbass" Minjung said pulling Doyoung back into his seat. Yerin on the other hand, only sits at her place doing her homework that is due tomorrow.

"Oh, dear! Boys seriously should stop obsessing over our friends right here!"

Doyoung instantly turns his eye direction towards Hana that now is sitting in front of him.

"I'm sorry, but I promise Yerin to--"

Doyoung was stopped when Yerin abruptly gets up from her seat, making a sound of friction between her chair and the floor. She gives a small smile towards Hanna before speaking.

"I'm going to the rooftop" Yerin said walking to the door. " Hey, hey, are you leaving right now? Minjung said a little bit shocked by Yerin's sudden actions.

Yerin gives a sidelong glance followed by a short yes as an answer before walking away ignoring whatever they say to her.

"But we're just about to--"

"What did I teach you about interfering, Kang Minjung?" Defeated, Minjung shrugged when an annoyed Hanna interrupt her like usual. She can only shrink her opinion while watching Yerin's figure disappear from sight.

"Well, you didn't teach her right then." The girl who is standing in the corner finally speaks up.

"well at least, I tried" Hanna whined "Do you know how hard it is to teach someone this stupid?!" She continued pointing at Minjung. Minjung on the other side only lowers her head while smiling trying her best not to show how hurt she is.

"Well, unfortunately, we only look at the results, so I see you didn't work hard enough," Jian said also getting out of class with Geumbi following close behind. Hanna waits until Jian is out of sight before the table in front of her was kicked furiously.

"That darn! Witch!"

She turns to Doyoung who is extremely bewildered by what he just sees and an idea pop into her mind. She smirked,

"Hey new friend, should we have fun?"
