It wasn't supposed to turn out like this.
No, she wasn't supposed to be the one being detained by this foul, filthy organization.
And yet, here she was facing the dressing table mirrors, dolled up in a pure white dress that doesn't even suit to her tastes. She didn't know where she had been taken since all she remembered was the dark, murky storeroom of the warehouse she'd been locked in for... three days, maybe?
Erika wasn't at all stupid. After all, how can she ever dare to plan a kidnapping of a certain someone to sold her off? In addition, taking advantages of everything around her was one of her virtue.
And she knew exactly what kind of sick, perverted human being would drool over beautiful girls as a merchandise, or as a slave since this was undoubtedly an illegal business of human trafficking. And the main event, the auction is where all kinds of wealthy people just want to relish their lust for exotic materials.
"Is she really that promised goods? She doesn't look really that pretty to me," one of the men in suit whispered to his companion, but Erika heard it either way.
The companion snorted in reply. "If she was really that pretty, Boss would have taken the girl for himself. But seeing she's being sold in the auction, it doesn't seem to suit Boss' taste."
Clenching the white fabric, Erika gritted her teeth, inwardly cursing at a certain brunette who was supposed to be in her place right now.
'If she hadn't transferred to the S Class, my plan wouldn't have...'
In the end, it was always Aurene Grace's fault.
The moment Erika laid her eyes on the breathtakingly beautiful brunette, she knew the girl was her mortal enemy. The smitten demeanor of the playboy, Hwang Vino had further proven her reasoning of her unreasonable resentment.
On top of it, the loathing got even worse when she had been directly ridiculed by the esteemed Yeon Hana and Po Bidau Gustang of the S Class, when she should've been praised and invited to their domain as a new member.
Maybe if she did become an S Class member, only then she would've forgiven Aurene Grace.
Would she?
No, her greed wouldn't have allowed her to do so.
Yet, god just had to make everything go in Aurene's way, much to her own displeasure. She'd fell into her own traps and naively detained by one of the most influential underworld organization, the literal devil she'd made a pact with.
"Stupid Aurene... I bet you're happy now that I'm out of your way," Erika snidely mumbled, catching the attention of the two men guarding the room.
"Hey, you wench. What did you say?!"
"Hey, stop it. Boss told us not to damage any goods, remember?"
"This rude girl doesn't seem to know her place! Just let me have at her!"
Just when the aggravated one was nearing the cream haired female, Erika boldly spat on his suit, harshly glaring at the two men. "Don't touch me, filthy scums."
Even the calmer bodyguard seem to lost his patience and let his companion have at it. She deserved it, after all.
"Listen here, b*tch. We may be scum and all, but we're still better than you!" the man gripped Erika's neck, choking the said girl. "You think we didn't know what you tried to do? You tried to freaking sell your own friend!"
Desperately clawing at the man's hand, Erika managed to gasp out: "She's not my friend! "
"Ah, is that so?" the male snickered. "That doesn't change the fact you're worse than any scum-"
