"Help one another in acts of piety and righteousness. And also do not assist each other in acts of sinfulness and transgression. And be aware of Allah. Verily, Allah is severe in punishment." (Al-maaidah:2)

Haniya's p.o.v

Since the day Sufiyaan bhai was back from the USA, the atmosphere of my house has changed and Alhamdulilah, now my family was a complete family. Sufiyaan bhai decided to look after the company and now Abbu was emanicipated from his work. Sufiyaan bhai has been very supportive. Every weekend we used to spend quality time with each other. From the past two months we have developed a great bonding with each other.

Well I was studying in Hasanath college for women in Bangalore, pursuating my degree of BBM. And this was my last year and then I will be called as graduate. Wow. From the past two months Sufiyaan bhai used to drop me to college. Today he was out of town so I will have to ask Aisha to pick me up or travel on a public bus. I preferred the first option. Her Abbu had gifted her car when she cleared 12th grade with good marks. I texted her.

"Assalamualaikum Aisha, Sufiyaan bhai is out of town. So do you mind giving me a ride to school?".

I know she will drive me to college but in return she is going to demand something. I remember, last time when I asked for her white gown she demanded chocolates. Sometimes she is very mean but still I love her and I feel blessed to have her in my life.

Five minutes later I recieved a text from Aisha, "Walaikumsalam Hani, what if I say I won't give you a ride?".

Me: I will travel on a public bus and being my best friend you know very well I don't like to travel on a public bus because it will be over-crowded and we will be touched by men (Intentionally or unintentionally, only Allah know's well). Astagfiruallah. But it's ok I will manage.

Aisha: Fine! I will give you a ride on my car but in return I need something". She replied back.

Me: I knew you were upto something so I decided to do an emotional atyachar heheh. Okay now, tell me what do you need?

Aisha: Will ask later. Be ready in 10 mintues. I will pick you up.

Me: Okay!

I wore my black abaya and niqaab and went downstairs to have my breakfast. As usual, my parents were waiting for me.

"Assalamualaikum ammi, abbu. Why you haven't started eating your breakfast?" I asked.

"Beta, we were waiting for you. Well... I must say shirkurma is very tasty, there is some sort of aroma in your hand. We will miss you alot when you will be married." Abbu said.

"No, I don't want to get married so soon, I don't want to leave my parents." I pouted.

"Marriage is one of the sunnah's of our Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) and you can't deny this sunnuah. One or the other day you have to get married and start your new life." Ammi said lovingly.

"I know Ammi, wish I could stay here forever." I said sadly and hugged her.

There was a horn. Aisha was waiting waiting for me. I bid Salam to my parents and left for college. I opened the car door and tied the seat belt. Aisha started the car.

"Jazakhallah habibti for picking me up." I smiled widely.

"Barakallahu feekum." Aisha responded without giving me a glance.

I could sense something was wrong with her. She was tensed. Everytime she keeps blabbering about silly stuff but today she was silent. I tried asking her the reason but she denied telling me. So, I decided give her space. I know Aisha since my childhood, she doesn't hide anything from me. When she will feel better she herself will open up.

We reached our collge and headed to our classroom. The rest of the day we were engaged with all the classes so I didn't get a chance to talk with Aisha. Today was the last day of 6th sem and then we will be having a study leave of one month. Aisha was acting weird, I dont know what's wrong with her.

During the lunch break I tried to cheer her up.

"Aisha, do you remember Amina mam's first day in our college, we thought she was a clerk." I laughed.

"Yeah, I do remember." She replied with a sad smile.

I was feeling frustrated by her behaviour. Even my mood had changed because of her but I tried to control my anger by reciting durood sharif.

"Aisha, please tell me. What's wrong with you yaar. Do you have any idea? When you are sad even I feel sad. Open your mouth and tell me what's the matter? I can't see you dull Aisha." I said calmly, feeling sad.

"I'm so sorry for ruining your day. Well do you remember? In the morning I demaned something?" She asked.

"Yes, you can ask me anything." I said assuringly.

"Hani, please don't take me wrong okay? Since past few days I was thinking about this but I didn't get a chance to talk to you. I felt weird. But today I'm going to spit it out. I hope you won't judge me. Actually, I want to stay at your home till our exam." She said reluctantly and I was left puzzled.

"Umm, are you serious? Ya Allah, I can't believe this. My best friend want to spend one month with me, at my place. Wow, it's going to be fun. And by the way why did you ask my permission? You are always welcome to my house." I said smiling widely.

"Jazakallah. Actually I thought about staying at your place because I have a reason." She states.
