Isaac opened his eyes,feeling his head pounding with pain.
"hey! You wokeup!" An unfamiliar male voice sounded near him, making him focus his eyes on a handsome face. The stranger extended a hand towards him, helping him stand up.
"Am Ashton Hunter and this is Lucas. We were on trekking and found you here. " The guy said and Isaac noticed the other one. He smiled, ignoring the dizziness. He couldnt remember how he ended up there.
"What happened to you buddy? You look screwed up." The guy named Ashton said and Isaac shook his head. "No idea. Actually,I dont remember how I ended up here. Whats this place?" He asked, feeling frustrated at himself. "North woods." The muscular guy named Lucas answered, his face hard. Isaac felt surprised knowing it. The last thing he remember was talking with Daniel Johns, a recent friend of his in a garage.
"So, You dont seem to have a car with you. We will drop you if thats okay" Ashton said and Isaac nodded, walking out of the woods with them. He had no idea how much time had passed since he lost conciousness. There was something nice about the guys that made him trust them.
"Nice car !" He exclaimed as he spotted the vintage beauty parked at the road side at the entry towards the woods. "Been my dad's. He is crazy over these stuff" Ashton said with a smile as they got into the car.
"Actually,I forgot...what was your second name?" He asked Ashton. "Hunter" He answered and Isaac was awed. "Oh! Ashton Hunter! No wonder why I felt like I had seen you before" he stated, leaning back on his seat and closing his eyes tiredly. "You havent told me where you live." Ashton said, waking Isaac from his nap. It was a half an hour drive with Ashton and Issac chatting about anything and everything.
"Thankyou for the ride, guys." Isaac said as he got out from the car. "Anytime" Ashton replied with a tight smile. "What about meeting again and having some fun?" He asked them, already liking the Hunter. Being in touch with a Hunter would be desirable for anyone.
"Probably never" the muscular guy said, looking sharply at Ashton and in a second the car was gone.
He felt confused and lost at what all happened and was deep in thought as he walked into the house.
"Isaac" Someone ran to him and burried her face in his chest. "Whats wrong?" He said and lifted up Sam's face to see it pale and concerned.
******************* "What!?" Isaac said in anger and shock as Sam finished narrating to him what had happened at the cemetery.
"Someone dare to confront you at a public place and walk away??" He muttered,running his fingers through his hairs.
"I cant remember anything Sam, this is all messed up and the last time I remember I was very far away from North Woods with Daniel"
"Daniel?" Sam asked, as she didnt recall Isaac ever talking about a friend named Daniel.
"Yeah. Met him a couple of days before at a racing competition. And he has a good classy collection...maybe I should call him. He might know something" He said and caught Sam's scruitinising eyes.
"You trust people so easily, Isaac. You dont know much about him and you hang out with him? She said, naarrowing her eyes.
"Lemme call him."He said sheepishly, putting his hands in his pocket to take out his phone.
"Fuck" He sweared as there was no phone. "I lost my phone!" He said,feeling stressed. "Am not going to spare the people who did this, Sam. They dont know who I am." He said, his eyes blazing with furry.
"Take it easy, Isaac. We recieved fair price for the plot and we can look for whats missing. I dont want you to get in trouble. Lets keep this from Emma and leave this for now." She said and saw the angry look on Isaacs face.
" I was so worried, man. You're the only family I have got. I dont want to lose you. Please-stay-away" She said pleadingly, her eyes filled with tears.
Isaacs face softened and he smiled. "Okay." He said, looking away. " I would be rotting in that woods if not for that Hunter" he said. Sam raised a brow in question as she didnt know that part of the story. "Ashton Hunter and a friend of his found me in the woods and offered a ride. Thats how I got here." He said, feeling grateful to the guys.
"Wheres Your car?" Sam said. Isaac leaned back on the couch and closed his eyes. "No idea,Sam. For now, I need some sleep." He said tiredly and closed his eyes.
"Wait, Is that Hunter as hot as he look in the magazines?" She asked musingly and heard him snoring.
