Hueningkai's POV

I smell something fishy around Y/n's room. She's been texting with someone and she's smiling like crazy.

Is my cousin crazy? She might be.

The night is so boring, I don't have anything to do. Should I go to the park? Maybe I should.

I ask permission to aunt because uncle is busy.

The park is quite crowded today. Among all the people in the park, his girl that wears the same hoodie as last night but in different color caught my attention.

She's peacefully reading a book. I slowly walk in front of her and took that book away from her hands with my right hand on my pocket.

"What is this? 'The weird sunshine'?" I read the title of the book.

What kind of book is this? A romance?

She stand with still no emotion in her face just like last night. Its the second time that she goes out of her cave.

"Give it back to me."

"Is this romance? The story must be nice. Can I borrow it?"

"Its not a romance and you can't borrow it so give it back."

"Why are you so cold? Do you even have friends inside the house?"

"I don't!"

"That's obvious."

I said scanning the book. I turn page by page but don't read it. I look at the summary at the back but she took the book away.

Our eyes meet and stare at each other for almost a minute before she step closer to me.

She take another step and another. Her eyes isn't taking mine away. She's weird.

It was this moment that she hand both her arms on my shoulder is so close to her. I act normal but I am nervous inside.

Isn't she getting embarrass? There's a lot of people here and she's acting like this. This is weird, she is weird.

"Don't mess with me." She said and before she walks away. I breath in relief. That was close.

Is that she impact of being inside the house all her life?

Wow! I will never stay inside the house for that long! I don't want to be like her. She's weird.😂

When I get back home, I know this is weird but I search the book that she's reading earlier.

'The weird sunshine'

The book 'The weird sunshine' is about a person suffering a weird disease. The sunshine can't touch her skin or else it'll burn her skin and can cause her to die. She live all her life inside the house, only goes out at night time. She's crazy for finding a curve for her disease but sadly, she didn't.

That's a weird story. This isn't a romance but why is she reading this by the way?

I only saw her going out at night and not at day time. Another thing that I notice is that always wears hoodie.

Does she have this kind of disease?

That must be painful. She's not able to make friends because she didn't go outside and the first time that she go out of their house was the first time we met. So, should I make her my friend?

Since when did I start making theories?

Whatever, I should sleep.

The next day,

Yeonjun hyung still isn't back but Taehyun said that he will come back soon.

Why would he suddenly go abroad to go to his parents in the start of school year? He should have done it on school break.

Beomgyu and Soobin are talking to Y/n while Beomgyu and I are talking to Nari. Nari is actually a child-like person but on the other side, she so caring that sometimes people can misunderstand her kindness.

She not aware that people are misunderstanding her action but she need to be aware and I am not the right person to tell her that.

At night time, I wait outside the house for my bravest neighbor to come out and after few minutes, she did.

I run towards her direction. She didn't notice me at first so I approach her. "Hey." I nicely greet her with smile.

"What?"

"Why are you so cold? I just want to be friends with you."

"Why?"

"I want to be friendly to my neighbor, maybe?"

"No thanks."

"Wait."

I didn't hold any part of her body because I know exactly what she will do to me so I grab the book that she's holding. She stop and face me.

Its a different book from yesterday. I read the title.

'Painful day time'

"What do you truly want?" She said obviously being irritated by me.

"I told you. I want to be your friend."

"Friend? That's painful but okay. So, you can leave me alone now, right?" She then walk away.

I go back inside and search about the book.

'Painful day time'

Its another story of a girl... with the same disease. Am I right? Does she really has that disease?

She's getting more interesting.

After the sun set, she go out of the house. She's holding the same book from last night.

"Hey," she give me a quick smile.

Wait, what? She did? That's rare!

"So, how do life feels having that kind of... you know, difference from others?"

She stop walking. "What are you talking about?"

"You know what I mean."

"How did you know that?"

I smile before pointing her book with my lips. She looks at her book and back to me.

"Aside from my family, you're the first person to know that." She continue walking and I did too.

She's not cold anymore. This is a good news!

"So that's why you don't go out of the house." I said

She continue to walk until we're in a silent part of the subdivision where there's no other people. Only us.

"I used to watch you in my window before." She said

"You do?"

She step closer to me. I didn't step back and let her go closer. Her height is cute.

She hang her arms on my shoulder. Her lips parted before it landed to mine.

I wasn't shock that she did that, what made me shock is that I respond to her kiss. It was more than a minute before she let go looking down.

I bit my lips. Her lips are soft. "I'm sorry." She said and runaway.

It is not my first kiss but it is the sweetest and purest. I don't want to explain it anymore.
