Chapter 21: Somethings up

Melody pov

I was finally done getting dressed then I left out my room heading for the limo. I wore something causal not trying to show too much skin because of what Adrians mom said about me yesterday.

I know I don't suppose to care , but why is she so cruel ? I was right there, and she continued to belittle me, which I did not understand.

I got in the limo bored , honestly I didn't even want to go to school , I wanted to be sleep next to Adrian. But I had to go , definitely not attending next year , it's really just a waste of my time.

Apollo then entered the limo , smiling weirdly at me , oh gosh he's going to ask me something about Adrian. " Sister how was your yesterday ? " Apollo said while sitting down next to me.

" Not great I guess  , Adrian mom hates me , and I don't even know why. " I said while closing my legs realizing I am not the only one in this car , " she hates you like " Your a whore ? " type of hate you ? " Apollo asked seeming intrigued by this for some reason.

" Ironic she called me a call girl , " I said while feeling disgusted , " you want me to kill her or something ? " Apollo asked suddenly out of the blue. I swear where is his thoughts coming from ?

" If she wasn't a queen I would definitely take you up on this offer but she is , so no I do not want you to kill her. Plus Adrian stood up for me they had a whole argument , " I said while looking out the window.

" You ever thought about it being a deeper reason to why she hates you ? " Apollo asked curiously , I thought about it but then quickly brushed it off , " no. " I said while looking at Apollo thinking about it once again.

We arrived at school , and I got out the limo quickly being greeted by Blake , his arms was around me making me nervous. " Melody hey you didn't come to my party Saturday , " Blake announced , I totally forgot about that.

" Um my family had a ball so I couldn't come , but the next party I'll be there , " I responded , while walking down the hallway , but I wonder was I lying ?

" Cool but we should really stop playing this game it's boring , " Blake said while kind of sounding seductive , I got confused because we were not playing a game.

" What ? " I asked suddenly confused what game ?

Then the next thing I know I'm getting pinned to a locker that isn't even mine , and Blake is staring me directly in my eyes , oh I see lust. I gasped almost laughing realizing that did not hurt.

I smiled removing his arm from above my head , " I have a boyfriend , and I am not playing a game with you. " I admitted while walking to first period , I was surprised that I even shut him down like that , I'm such a loyal girl friend.

Apollo pov

I walked in first period getting taken off guard when I saw Lucy sitting right in the front of the classroom. How the hell did she even know my class schedule ?

I was so disgusted to the point where I forgot Lucy can read mines just like any other vampire. I went straight to the back of the classroom sitting away from Mya, and Lucy the drama I was not prepared for today is ascending.

" Okay class today were starting algebra 1 last week it was more like a review to get you used to doing math, and now the real work shall began, oh, and by the way say hello to our new student Lucy Hammer ? " Mr Gabriel asked while staring at Lucy.

" Oh hey I'm Lucy. I just moved here, but I only know 1 person in this class, I really hope I can make more friends. " Lucy announced while giving the whole class her signature fake smile.

I rolled my eyes knowing she's up to something, but these days who's not up to something ?

The bell rung , and it was now 2nd period , I got up walking towards Lucy completely ignoring Mya. " Why are you here ? " I asked while looking her in her eyes trying to see do I see anything.

" What you don't want me here ? " Lucy asked while staring at me looking offended , she suddenly laughed not even letting me answer. " Did you really think I didn't know you were blocking Mya from seeing supernatural people from that sun necklace ? " Lucy said while gathering her things , I waited for her to grab her things so we could head out.

" So what your jealous because I gave her a necklace that was blocking her from seeing things that she shouldn't be seeing ? " I asked suddenly curious but very confused.

" No I'm jealous because you chose a vile worthless human being over me , " Lucy said while rolling her eyes , and stopping in the middle of the hallway. " I never chose anyone over you , " I responded not even surprised by this bullshit , she's so self centered.

" You did soon as I moved away you moved on , forgot about me , hell when you saw me again you called me cheap. " Lucy responded being completely right oh my gosh.

" What you want me back ? " I asked suddenly confused over this situation. " Yes I want you back , but I want you to take me back , because you want me not the other way around. " Lucy admitted while starting to walk again.

Here goes nothing , I suddenly grabbed Lucy, and kissed her with everything I had left. Trying to see did I feel anything for her ?

Until I felt someone breaking us up , " Dude she saw y'all , and now she's walking away , " Axel junior said while staring at the blushing Lucy. I then hurried to 2nd period trying to sit next to her so we could possibly talk. And we ended up not talking , we actually didn't talk until lunch time and Lucy happened to sit with us.

" So Melody has a boyfriend , " Alexis announced while acting like she didn't say anything , " Melody has a boyfriend ? "

Lucy asked looking at Melody surprised , then she looked at me surprised I even let her have one , it's not like I'm her father just her twin brother who happens to love , and be very protective over her.

" It's that cute guy with the glowing blue eyes right ? " Mya asked while smirking at Melody , I then looked at Mya confused , how the hell did she know his eyes glowed when she only supposed to had seen the color blue.

" Prince Adrian ? " Lucy asked seeming way too surprised , " he's a prince too what the fuck Melody ? " Mya asked , I was just watching them talk , and as always Axel wasn't listening he was on his phone texting someone.

But how come Mya never asked us what country were from if she knows we're royalty ?
