Intermission 1

--night after the battle with [No Life King] Zen 'the Immortal'

--third point of view

The moon under siege by stars seemed to lighten the night bringing forth stars that shone and hung in the blackness. The never ending blackness consumed everything. Except the stars which stood out like pebbles in front of a storm. The stars shine so bright as the only source of light, it's create a hazy band of light seen in the night sky formed from stars that cannot be individually distinguished by the naked eye.

Under such a starry night sky, two people- Kaida and Satou- sit side by side, gazing at the beauty of stary night sky. Illuminated by only the light from the firefly. Even under such a mystical scenery, the air where full of akwardness of the two people. 

"Hey Kaida... "

"....."

Satou says as he initiating the talk. Not the usual Satou that usually so confidant with his [Poker Face]. Kaida only silence in acknowledegment.

"There already many thing happen ever since I arrive in this world. Killing god, battling with demon, even I now know magic. ....You know, Kaida, I originally where just ordinary and even weak willed  nobody."

"...hm.."

Satou begin to talk, as if confessing his secret.

"I feel like I'm change. Taking life and ignoring slavery, but strangely, I did not feel uncomfortable with that change. and that was scary."

"...is it so ..huh..."

Hearing satou talk, Kaida also remembering her own experience that, it was indid scary. Kaida experience more change, from being he become the current she, and even the lost  instince as a 'he' and ack as a she. The indiferent emotion like the only that matter is her own. Remembering all of that... she feel thankfull for Satou, Arisa, Lulu, Pochi, Tama, Liza and Mia accompany and for making her care for them.

Thingking again make she want to answer 'I'm also' but affraid and only can be quiet and answer with silent with pained exspression.

"That why.. I really feel 'thank you' for you, accompany me from the very begining I arrive in this world, creating my new 'usual everyday' and then we meet Arisa, Lulu, Pochi, Tama and Liza.. ah, also Zena.. trouble also occure like the demon.. and we meet Zen. it was caos, and in the end, Mia join our group..  it was fun journey."

"yup.. it was fun.."

Starring at each other, they smile, remembering their adventure. Comfortable silent come after. The two- Kaida and Satou- silently.. gazing at the beautifull scenery.

"..Kaida."

"...!"

It was not long after that Satou begin to talk again, in more nervous tone than before. Locking his gaze at Kaida with resolute expresion-

"I love you."

Confessing his emotion.

Kaida was-

.....

........

Reflexively answer with face that as if she ate something really unpleasant.

...........It was deadly silent afterward.......

"....You don't have to put that kind of face you know... just normally say no is already painfull..."
