Prologue

I'm so stupid!Why did I even agree with that stupid revenge shit!I should have known better!I shouldn't have been blinded by all this lie!That is what you get for being naive Sapphire!*sniff*
Your so stupid!Your disgusting!I say as the water drip down to my whole body.

Skin turning red,starting to bruise as I harshly scrub my skin.Tears still falling from my eyes.I stayed in the shower for an hour. I was now infront of the mirror staring at myself.

My hand traveling to my face then to the blade on the table.I grabbed it still staring at my reflection.Not realizing I was again marking my wrist.Blood dripping but I couldn't feel any pain.

Until I heard a car park outside our house. He came home.After months but he's late.

"Princess!I'm home!"I hear him shout out side as his voice echoed around the house.

"Welcome back sir.Miss Sapphire has fallen asleep already due to her school activities earlier."My familiar lied.He knew what I was doing but couldn't do anything about it.

"Too bad...Well!It can wait tomorrow.I wouldn't want to interrupt her sleep.Goodnight then."He said and walked away.Sound of his footsteps walking slowly fading.I heard the door open then closed.

As my familiar turned around only to see blood dripping from my wrist.Rushing towards me then covering my wrist with his white handkerchief now stained with blood.

"Miss you need to stop this.It wasn't your fault.You were taken advantage..They don't deserve your attention, friendship or any affection.They are not worth it.Please stop hurting yourself."He said to me while wiping away the blood.

"What did I do to them?What is wrong with me?Why do they hate me?"I asked.

"You did nothing wrong.There is something wrong with them but not you.They are insecure because you are different.Your kind, beautiful, talented, smart and you have everything."He replied.I smiled dryly at his statement.

"Why would they be envious of me.They have both their parents.I don't.They have a happy family and supportive siblings and friends.I don't.

I may have older brothers and sister but I don't feel it.I know they hate me but why do I still love them?

They have friends but I always receive arrows and knife on my back.Why am I so blind?"I said still looking at the mirror.

"Miss you're  not the one who's blind.They are, they do not see what real treasure is but you do.Family, love,talent.They focus on something others have that they don't.Too blinded by their insecurity that they do not see that the most important thing in their life are on their hands waiting to be grasped but they let it go and grasp something they want but not need."He said softly while dressing my wound.

"They hate me because I'm kind then would you hate me if I changed?Would you hate me if I let them taste their own medicine or even worse?"I asked looking at my wrist being covered in gauze.

"No I would never.And even If I try,I couldn't.People would easily love and adore you once they open their eyes and not be blinded by jealousy."He stated while smiling at me.He is only a few years older than me yet he seems to have experienced all of this things or maybe worse.

"How do you know all this?"I asked he looked at me in the eye before answering.

"Back in our tribe,our kind are being tought of all things and informations we need to know and learn for our masters and mistress.From protecting,following orders,expressions,giving comfort,teaching, and learning different language incase our owners would have different language."He said

"You and your tribe are not an object to be owned.You all are living creatures like us yet you do not have a name.You say master or mistress and serve them like you are their pet.No one should live their lives like that."I said to him.Astonishment written all over his face.

"From now on your name would be Lupus Nathaniel.And I wish to not be called master or mistress."I said while examining his face.

"Lupus Nathaniel?Lupus is wolf and Nathaniel is an Angels name.Would you please explain the meaning of my name?"He asked.

"You are as brave and strong like a wolf kind,righteous and as handsome as an angel." I said.

"M-miss th-thank you!I will cherish the name you have given me and would follow you until death!"He said while bowing. His palm facing the floor and forehead resting on the back of his hand.
