The next few weeks went by for Elizabeth by filling out her college applications talking to her counselor and doing all her school work.  She had just gone for bellas cake cutting in the cafe near school.  Obviously the douchebag lenord had to make his presence.  Elizabeth always wondered what she saw in him other then getting decent grades , he was the definition of a complete loser , who misbehaved with everyone including bella. Elizabeth "hey bells you free tomorrow night maybe we can go to our favourite restaurant?
Bella " umm liz I would really love that but ..
Lenord " but she can't cause  we already made plans with Harry and gianna . "
Elizabeth " oh okay no issues some other time maybe "
Their were quite a few people their so before Elizabeth knew it her best friend was talking to other people with her boyfriend always stuck to her. Elizabeth was just talking to Susan. 
Susan " hey liz I might leave like in 5 cause I have to go out with my sisters I hope that's okay with you.
Elizabeth " hey yeah totally I guess I'll leave with you, I'll just go back to school finish a little bit more of my work and then I'll head home "
At that time Daniel enters with some of his friends and Annabelle was their too.Annabelle was friends with Bella since they were both on the swim team . She goes ahead and wishes her Daniel tagging along .Elizabeth,susan just thought they should let bella know that they are leaving.  Bella hugged them and the minute they turned Elizabeth heard lenord "she doesn't have a lot of friends besides you does she , I mean I know, I don't either but your my girlfriend babe I'd like you to myself more "
Bella " don't be rude we've been inseparable since childhood "
Lenord "whatever she really clings on to you and I hate it"
Guess who else hears this conversation aside from Elizabeth ofcourse Daniel.  As soon as susan and Elizabeth get out of their .Susan heads towards her house which is in the opposite direction from school so they say goodbye and go in different directions. 
Soon someone catches up with Elizabeth, she thinks its susan who probably forgot something.
Daniel "hey nerdy slow down a bit"
Elizabeth " whatever you want I am not in the mood for right now Daniel
Daniel " whats got you all grumpy don't tell me it's that douchebag "
Elizabeth " who exactly are you referring too"
Daniel " Lenord who else nerdy "
Elizabeth " oh so you heard him too"
Daniel "Yeah and he's an ass forget about him , also I mean even though she is your bestfriend but is she slow or what?"
Elizabeth " hey don't say anything about Bella"
Daniel "Hey ,I get where your coming from I would probably defend Nathan as well but I would knock some sense into him "
Elizabeth " you and look out for someone else besides you? I really don't think so"
Daniel"  hey don't be mean nerdy I can be nice when I want too "
Elizabeth "bipolar much
Daniel " look whose talking grumpy nerdy, also just saying we did reach school like a while back "
Elizabeth had been so invested in the conversation that she didn't realise they had actually reached
Elizabeth " well that's my que I have to go check up on my girl's "
Daniel " You know you need to learn to be a stern captain like me and then the work will be done without you having to be there "
Elizabeth " Really your telling me you won't be going to check on them ?
Daniel " I wasn't going to but now that I am already across I'll just go check once "
Elizabeth " okay smarty pants bye see you later"
Daniel " hey nerdy you don't get to call me names it's bad for my reputation "
Elizabeth couldn't keep that grin off her face as she walked away. It's good that Daniel was their otherwise the kids would have to face the wrath of her shitty mood.
The next few days they didn't meet at all and whenever they crossed paths also he didn't acknowledge her neither did she bother bipolar much she guessed.
After about a week their was the annual school dance and without Pete being here Izzy didn't have anyone to dance with .
As she entered with susan, Bella and the twins by her side . Everyone thought Elizabeth would dance with them cause it was their last dance . Bella ran away with lenord almost as soon as they entered. 
Nathan soon found Elizabeth and took her away from the girls. 
They jammed all night to their favourite songs .
As Elizabeth and Nathan were standing in one of the classrooms of the corridor one of Elizabeth's juniors almost chocked seeing them together.  I guess Elizabeth's uptight nerdy image made people believe which guy would like someone like her.
Soon Daniel came out ofcourse scarlett had to be stuck to him . Soon they reached Nathan and Elizabeth.  Elizabeth was about to leave seeing them but Daniel stopped her " Hey nerdy you can come with us if you like?
Elizabeth "Nah I think I'll pass thanks for the dance Nate "
Nathan " Anytime izzy see you later "
She found susan and they were going to walk back .
As they walked back susan told Elizabeth that for the first time what she did wasn't cool . Cause it was their last dance so she expected them to dance together.
Elizabeth " I am really sorry su we'll get other opportunities to dance together I promise "
Susan " Yeah but it won't be in school "
Elizabeth "I am so sorry ,🥺 please forgive me su"
Susan " okhie but you'll have to make it up to me"
Elizabeth " done deal also your coming with me to a party please su"
Susan " Absolutely not you know me I'd rather be at home and read a book "
Elizabeth " hey give that excuse to someone else Susan Myers,  I know that you drink and dance with your siblings but you somehow refuse to do it with us"
Susan " I'll drink and dance with you alone and maybe the twins and bell but know one else"
Elizabeth "come on it's probably going to be our last party in school so you can't say no   you absolutely cannot "
Susan " I'll think about it , for now let's head up and don't mention this party in front of mum, if I consider going I'll have to lie to her"
Elizabeth "wow I didn't know you had this side to you as well su"
Susan's house happened to be on the 22nd floor of a high raised building where the connectivity was horrible. Soon Pete called her
Elizabeth " Hey "
Peter "You sound pretty low liz , wassup? Don't tell me you missed me"
Elizabeth "hahah You wish"
Peter "ouch a man can dream no"
Elizabeth "dreaming is good for health one day your dreams might even come true you never know"
Peter " Don't get my Hope's up izzy cause at the end you'll be the one crushing it"
Elizabeth "okay Mr sweet talker continue and tell me exactly why you called?"
And the connectivity went just then .
Elizabeth "hello pete , omg this stupid connectivity sorry I can't hear you
Elizabeth quickly leaves him a text about her bad connectivity.

Elizabeth felt bad for him . Cause she knew that she doesn't love him the same way he loves her . Their's literally  nothing he can do that'll change her feelings, with him their's always this level of insecurity that she feels cause of the distance and she know's he feels it too .

It's not that I don't love you I do and I probably always will . But I just don't think I am cut out for this long distance thing . Please let's not make this uncomfortable for either of us . Your a really nice guy and you will can get any girl and I know you will probably get someone smarter ,prettier then me . For the first time she didn't get any message back from Pete.
The day after his game their was a  party and this time Elizabeth's group was going  , so she had no choice but to go .
As Elizabeth reached the party all her friends went with their respective boyfriend's except the twins they weren't dating anyone so they were with izzy.  They had all headed for the kitchen to get booze . One of the twins who is the more outgoing one met a friend and started talking while izzy and Ashley were talking
Ashley " hey isn't that Pete "
Elizabeth " oh yeah hide me if that is , we broke up"
Ashley " how many times do you guy's  break up "
Elizabeth " just do what I am telling you "
But she was too late for that Pete was coming their way along with a girl clutching on to him , the girl wasn't visible clearly from afar.
As they got closer they realized it's Annie.
Ashley " wow he moves really fast "
Pete " hey  izzy I am glad I got to see you here meet Annie my new  friend "
Elizabeth felt hurt and she could see that he wanted to get on her nerves
Elizabeth "Yeah I already know annie  I am happy for you "
Annie " Are you really happy for him Elizabeth?"
Peter " You know that's not what I want from you"
Daniel sweeps in from the door behind Elizabeth.  He looked a little stunned to see Annie with Pete considering the last time he met this guy he couldn't keep his hands of Elizabeth.
Elizabeth " I really don't know what you want from me"
Ashley" I know what he wanted , well you aren't getting it lover boy so run along with this whore"
Annie" how dare you "  pete holds her tightly so that she doesn't become violent
Peter " You know it doesn't have to be like this izzy, but I am glad I can now see the real you "
Elizabeth " what does that mean"
Pete " you know very well what it means . I mean look at yourself you claim to love me yet you broke up with me via a single a text and here you are at a party acting like a slut as if nothing happened "
Before Ashley or Elizabeth could reply Daniel stepped closer to Elizabeth and said " just because she comes to party doesn't mean you start name calling her and how is it okay for you then to come for a party and at least unlike you she has the decency to not go out with the first slut she finds on the road the exact day you guy's break up"
Pete " and who the fuck are you to interfere in our conversation "
Daniel " well I happen to be Eizzys friend and I unlike you actually care about her
Pete " oh yes I remember you your that guy who wouldn't leave my izzy alone that day. Well congratulations now you can have this whore all to yourself "
Daniel punched Pete as soon as he said that  . He took Elizabeth's hand and dragged her to his car . After making her sit inside they drove away . Pete realized what a big mistake he had made but before he could apologize to Elizabeth she already drove off with that guy
