As i sat in the tree i regretted leaving the luxuries of my home. Like food water and my new phone.

Ive only been up here for about 5 minutes and I'm already dying to leave.

So far i haven't seen anyone or heard anyone. My nerves start to cool down. Why would anyone come out here anyway, and look in a tree?  And if they did i could probably out-run whoever it is. That is the main reason i ran track when i was still in school. Notice i said 'was'.

You may be thinking im some dropout druggie but thats not the case. My overprotective dad made me drop school in public and be tutored privately at home just in case 'One Direction' had a surprise visit. Which has only happened once. That's when Niall was added to the group.

I continue to drift in my thoughts until i hear a noise from below.

My panic returns back then changes to bone chilling fear. I felt paralyzed. Everything my dad thought me,the things he crammed in my mind, is gone. Poof.

I shrink back into the leaves as far as i can and stay still. My breathing is irregular and my legs tremble with fear.

I hear another rustle. Except this time its closer. Who ever it is they are climbing the tree. I squeeze my eyes closed preparing for the horrible fate I'm in for.

I was flooded with relief when I saw that it was my best friend.

"Anna, Oh my god thank goodness your alright!" she said as she pulled me in a tight hug. "Why did you run away from your house?"

 "My dad hit me." I stuttered out.

I feel hot tears in my eyes, but i refuse to let them roll down my cheeks.

She gave me a sympathetic look. Before she could say anything i asked her a question.

"Why are you here katy? You could have got killed or taken."

"I saw you running past my house i took the backway while it was still clear to come check on you since you didnt come back" she said quietly.

 "Katy!" i said in a shout whisper. "Are you trying to get taken or killed? Don't put yourself in harm over me ever again."

"I cant promise that." she said as she looked me feircly in the eyes. "Thank you" i whispered towards her. She wrapped me in her arms as i cried into her shoulder.

We sat there for many hours.

"Hey, katy?" i whispered nervously. "Yeah?"she answered looking at me.
"We've been for a while... maybe we should go back home?" i said hesitantly to her.

She seemed to be thinking over the idea. "When i was out there, the streets were pretty clear, but i heard the marching, ya know the thing they do before they split up?" she said just above a small whisper. I just nodded my head as a sign of acknowledgement. "I dont think we should go right now-"

Katy was cut of by a loud ear piercing scream, close by. We both jumped a little and stared off in the distance as if we could see through the branches to see what could be heard as a women.

We sat and listened for a few minutes.

But I was done being scared of these bullies. Its time someone took a stand and if that person was me then so be it.

I looked at katy as she looked at me. "We have to go help whoever that is." i say boldly.

"Anna, you know how dangerous that could be. We are not doing that." she said with her brows furrowed.

"Fine if your not with me i will do it alone. I am sick if this bullshit! I am gonna stick up to them once and for all." i say loudly, sticking to my thoughts.

She looked shocked for a minute then hesitant. She sighed, "fine but quick then back to safety?" she said firmly.

"Yes of course." i say.

We climb down the tree and ran to where we could hear the distant screams. Little did we know, this is where fate chose its long path.
