Movie Night and other signs of the Popcorn War

The trailer is to the movie the Zodiacs watch. I am not great with horror movies, but this is like the only one I ever watched and it is creepy. At the end of the chapter, there is another Author note, so make sure to read the last one too.

"Everyone come downstairs! Movie night is starting!" Leo yelled at the top of her lungs, waiting in front of the home cinema.

"We're here!" Taurus, Cancer and Libra were the first to arrive, each one of them carrying various snacks and drinks. "What movie did you choose?" Cancer asked Leo curiously as she placed the popcorn buckets on a table.

"I thought we'd watch Carrie." Leo smiled excitedly, "Oh, I've always wanted to see that one." Cancer smiled too as she and Taurus made their way to their respective chairs.

"Why do we always have to watch horror movies if one of you chooses?" Taurus complained, Libra agreeing with him. Both of them were not looking forward to another horror movie.

"Carrie was made into a musical, wasn't it?" Pisces asked as her head popped up over the backrest of one of the chairs. "How long have you been here?" Libra asked the girl as he sat down in the chair next to her.

"Have you guys seen Pisces? I couldn't find her anywhere." Aquarius entered the room, followed by Capricorn. "She has been here since god knows when." Taurus told both newcomers.

"Do we have salty popcorn too?" Gemini asked as she and Sagittarius entered the cinema. "How can you possibly eat salty popcorn?" Cancer asked with a raised eyebrow.

"The real question is how you can eat sweet popcorn. Doesn't it just stick your whole mouth together?" Gemini shot back as she chose a salty popcorn bucket.

"Guys, we are not having another discussion about popcorn. At least one movie night without this conversation." Virgo pleaded as she, Scorpio and Aries entered the room.

"If we could have one movie night without this discussion, this would be a miracle." Capricorn stated. Scorpio nodded, "True though."

"How about we drop this shitty conversation as a whole and start to watch the movie." Aries demanded and Leo agreed with him, as did Virgo.

After about another ten minutes in which every sign was getting their snacks and drinks and finally sat down, Leo started the movie.

The first two seat rows were always empty, but the final seat order looked like this.

Cancer and Taurus were sitting next to each other, her already cuddling him before the movie even started. Taurus would never admit it, but he was hella scared of horror movies. Cancer who knew this, always offered cuddles to him if they watched a horror movie.

Next to them Aquarius and Virgo were sitting next to each other, none of them getting really scared by horror movies. Aqua already started munching on her popcorn and Virgo waited patiently for everyone to be quiet so she could start the movie.

Gemini and Sagittarius sat next to each other, both were cuddling like Taurus and Cancer. Gemini enjoyed horror movies, as did Sagittarius. Still they decided to hold each other in case either of them got scared. Gemini would never admit it, but she loved being cuddled during horror movies.

Leo and Aries sat next to each other, both having a huge bucket of popcorn between them. Sometime during the movie both would start throwing popcorn at each other, just to be annoying. Virgo and Capricorn both dreaded the mess they needed to clean up after every movie night.

The row behind consisted in Pisces, Libra, Scorpio and Capricorn. Libra sat next to Pisces, both sharing a huge bucket of popcorn and quietly whispering to each other. Scorpio was on Pisces' other side, he was busy throwing popcorn up in the air and catching it with his mouth. Capricorn next to him was trying to convince Scorpio to stop throwing popcorn around.
