Suddenly I feel the blade slip
Not across my skin
But to the floor.
I have someone to go to for help
My angel has stopped me
My angel had saved me
I look up, tear stain eyes
"I'm never leaving you."
Warm arms engulf me
I feel at peace.
Is this what it feels like to be happy?
I snuggle closer with that thought.
I never want to look back
I'm moving forward with life
I feel like I have a future
