Felix opens his eyes, the lights slowly enters his eyes. He looks around, he's slightly dizzy, so he shakes his head a bit. Trying to get vision, he looks around again.
It's his house, he is sitting on the sofa, comfortable.
What the hell just happened?
He sees a man walking to him with a chair. The man sets the chair in front of the sofa, and sits on it, opposite to Felix. Felix tries to make out who it is and then remembers him.
"Marcus?" Felix says, realizing it is Marcus, his parole officer.
"How you doing Felix?" Marcus asks.
"Uhm... fine... I... I don't remember how I got here, what... what happened?" Felix asks.
"What's the last thing you remember?" Marcus asks.
Felix remembered pulling the trigger at Christof, "Why... why are you here?"
"We know you shot Christof." Marcus says.
"You here to arrest me then?" Felix asks.
Marcus smiles, "No, not at all Felix." Marcus says.
"Then? How did I get here?" Felix asks again, confused.
"Now... I need you to promise me that you'll stay calm, cos I'm about to say some things to you that you may find hard to accept." Marcus says.
"What things? What happened?" Felix asks, getting curious, and a bit tensed.
"Promise me, you'll stay calm, you'll hear everything I have to say first, okay?" Marcus asks.
"Okay, I will." Felix says, relaxing back to the sofa.
"Alright. I want you to remember what happened, and tell me exactly what you remember." Marcus asks.
"Fine..." Felix sighs, "I escaped with Charlie and she had asked me to stop..."
"No, no... not that. Tell me what you remember from that night. The night your daughter died." Marcus says.
"Wha... you already know that Marcus, I mean what does it have to do with anything?" Felix asks.
"Just tell me what happened that night." Marcus requests again.
"Marilyn pushed my child of the staircase, she hit her head, she died, I killed Marilyn, there, Marcus you know this already." Felix says.
"Is that really what happened Felix? I want you to think, and remember properly. You know what actually happened." Marcus says.
Felix is confused, then gets flashes from the night, "I... she fell down..."
"How did she fall Felix? Try to remember, I know it's in there, get it out." Marcus says.
Felix tries to remember, with scenes flashing in his mind from that night.
The night Felicia, Felix's daughter died.
It's a rainy night, with frequent thunders. Felix is alone at home, waiting for Marilyn and Felicia to come from their aunt's house. After a while, they reach, they open the door and get in slightly wet.
"Oh God, the rain is so bad this time." Marilyn says, putting her bags inside.
