I gasped as I sat up in my bed, looking at a sparkling pair of blue eyes. "What-" I began. The blond boy with blue eyes looked at me. "You're awake!" He exclaimed. "Briar, do you remember anything?" I shook my head. "The last thing I remember is the party for my birthday. What happened, Niall?" His eyes clouded with concern. "I'm not exactly sure. You were in a coma-like state for a few days now. The rest of the town is the same way. They haven't woken up yet." I gasped. "Oh my gosh! I need to know what happened. Are my parents okay? What about my brothers? And my sister? And-" Niall shushed me. "It's okay," he said softly. "I'm sure you'll remember it in a few days. You don't remember anything from the night of the party?" I shook my head again. Suddenly, there was a loud bang and pictures crashed to the floor. "Was that an earthquake?" I asked. Niall looked nervous. "That wasn't an earthquake Briar. That was-" The door flew open. "It was me!"
