I sat Waiting in the recording room for Danni, Abbie, Maddie and Nikki to show up since today was the day we had to record the vocals to the girls newest single, ‘You Broke My Heart’ written by Abbie just 4 months ago. Yesterday we managed to finish recording the instrumental overlay.

*Oi! Someone’s calling you! Pick up the phone!*
I heard from the corner of the desk, obviously meaning that someone was ringing me so I picked up my phone from next to me and looked at the caller ID. ‘Danni!’.
”Where are you girls?” I asked looking up at the clock which now showed that it was 14:15pm. The girls were 15 minutes late.
”We’re on our way up to the recording room.” I heard her reply.
”We got held up on our way, we got stopped by a couple fans.” Abbie added, taking the phone off Danni.
“We’ll be up in a couple minutes…room 278 right?” Danni asked, taking her phone back.
”Yeah, room 278. Hurry up girls; we’re behind schedule.” I stated hanging up the phone and placing it back on the desk and picked up the sheets with the lyrics to read over them.

Finally the girls had arrived and the next hour and 15 mins was full of singing and stopping and switching and editing.

After the others had completed the recordings of their vocals, only Maddie remained ”Okay Maddie, you ready?” I asked through the microphone and watched as she gave us a thumbs up after sorting out her headphones and the papers with the lyrics so she could sing the chorus.
”We’re starting the music.” I added and pressed the record button then the play button for the music. And listened as Maddie began to sing.

So I dyed your eyebrows too

”How was that?” Maddie asked from the booth.
”That was great Maddie!” Nikki yelled from where she was sitting. Looking around I spotted Abbie laying across Danni and Nikki sat on the two seater sofa.
”Abbie, there is another chair to sit on?…” I asked looking at her in disbelief.
”Yea, but I didn't want to sit there….” She replied scrolling on her phone, twitter most likely.
”Okay then..” I said turning around and speaking into the microphone again. 
”You just have to sing the other two chorus’s and you’ll be done for the day, you okay with that Maddie?” I said and got a nod in reply.
”The next chorus has ‘Well you broke my heart, so I found someone new’ right?” she asked, so I nodded, letting her get ready and pressed the record button and play music button once again.

After Maddie took of her headphones, grabbed the lyric sheets and left the recording booth the smile on my face bounced from ear to ear!

”Okay and this song is officially completed” I grinned as we listened to the completed song. I smiled as all the girls high-fived each other.
”Now shall we have a signing for this single or not?” Nikki asked once they finished celebrating. 
”It shouldn’t hurt to have a signing for this single, you girls haven’t had one for you past two singles….” I replied “…but first we need to get this up onto YouTube and Facebook.” I finished, ejecting the completed disk and the memory card that also had the completed single saved on and stood up. 
”I think this deserves a treat. Pizza and movie night anyone?” Danni asked grabbing her jacket, house keys and phone. I smiled, letting the girls out of the room first then shutting the door behind me.
”Let’s go pick out some movies to rent then shall we. One movie each.” I said walking behind them to the bottom floor and front entrance where a few fans had a sign that had pictures of the girls on it and “We Love D.A.M.N!!!” painted on it in bright red paint.
