After taking pictures with a fans outside we all got into Alex’s car and drove around to find a store to rent some movies.
“How about Blockbusters?” I asked pointing to the store just up ahead. I was sitting in the passenger seat this time since I called shotgun first.
“Okay then, remember only one movie each.” Alex replied parking the car and letting us out. “When you’re done, wait here if I’m not back” she added driving off.
Getting into the store I headed straight for the ‘Fantasy’ section grabbing ‘Narnia: The lion the witch and the wardrobe’ while Maddie went to the ‘Chick-flicks’ section, Danni to the ‘Comedy’ section and Nikki straight to the ‘Action’ section. I finally decided on a movie and walked to the counter to pay for it.
“How many nights are you renting this for?” The guy behind the counter asked, scanning them into the machine.
“Just one night.” I replied getting out my money and paying the £3.50.
As we were all waiting outside for Alex to come back I looked at the movies the girls picked out. The Vow, Iron Man 3, and White Chicks. Alex soon came back and I could see three bags of popcorn, 2 bottles of normal coke and a bottle of diet coke for the fussy (Also known as Maddie). When we got home and took in the essentials for the movie night, the only thing that was missing were pizza's.
“Okay girls, what pizza’s do you want?” Alex asked picking up the phone and dialling the number for the local pizza take out.
“....pepperoni!!” Nikki and I shouted at the same time.
“Regular cheese and tomato!” Maddie replied
“Chicken and mushroom!” Danni added with a smile.
“Alright then” Alex said walking out of the room to order.
Meanwhile we were messing around waiting for Alex to come back, we were all laying somewhat over each other in a messed up heap.
“Have you ever wondered how we’re not overweight, with the amount of pizza and other junk food we eat?” Nikki asked laying at the bottom of the pile.
“It’s amazing how you’re not crushed under the weight of us all” Maddie replied, getting a laugh from us all.
“Okay, the pizza’s will be here in 45 minutes to an hour” Alex stated walking into the room and grabbing one of the DVDs and placing it in the DVD player then turning on the TV.
“What are we watching first then Alex?” Maddie asked, taking a seat on the sofa with her bowl of sweet popcorn while Nikki had some salted popcorn, I had toffee popcorn, Danni sharing the other half of the sweet popcorn and Alex sharing the other half of the salted popcorn.
“The Vow.” Alex replied
“But I don’t want to watch a chick flick first” Nikki said pouting and crossing her arms. “Let’s watch Iron Man 3, first” she added
“We always watch your films first.” Danni stated, siding with Maddie
“But why the chick flick first?” Nikki asked “We’ll all be in tears.”
“Cause afterwards we’ll have films to make us laugh” I said, handing everyone their glasses of coke and Maddie her glass of Diet coke cause, in the words of Danni, she’s a fussy cow.
