Mystery Island

Chapter 1

Shimmer is at home packing for the cruise ship as her mom tells her to keep packing extra unnecessary stuff.

“OK mom I have to go now before the boat leaves!”

“OK sweetie but be careful, I have heard about what some cruise ships have done before from sleepy driver..” There was a silence and then Shimmer left out the door to the cruise ship.

“ALL ABOARD!” The engineer from the ship yelled out his window before they dispart from the deck.

“WAIT!!” Yells Shimmer as she runs as fast as she cans before they move to far away from the deck. Shimmer jumps onto the deck and tumbles into a waitress with food.

“Hey watch it freak.”

“Sorry I didn’t mean to it was not my intention.” Shimmer says on the floor trying to clean up the mess.

“Suree llike nothing is ever a kids intention.Just go I’ll get a rag to clean this up” The waitress walks off to get rags and a bucket mumbling something that Shimmer didn’t quite catch. Shimmer gives her ticket to a man at the desk area. He shows her to her room.

“Have a nice stay Ma’am.” Said the desk man.

“I’m sure I will.” She smiles and he walks away back to the desk. Shimmer starts thinking to herself.

“ I wonder if my mom was right… I don’t know I guess I will have to go to sleep and think about it in the morning.” Shimmer puts on her pajamas and lays down for bed. She wakes up to the sound of her friend and she was confused.

“Hello? Anybody there??” She asked in confusement.

“Hey Shimmer, when I was signing in to the cruise book to check-in I saw your name and I asked what room you were in. Suprising they didn’t have a fuss with me asking and they just asked if I was a friend of yours and they just told me your room.” Celest told Shimmer in confusement.

“Ya I was confused also because my mother had made me late for the cruise so I had to jump aboard and a waitress yelled at me for bumping into her. It was kinda weird and rude.”

“Hello ma’am are you coming down for breakfast or would you like me to have a lady bring it up to you?” asked the kind room service.

“Umm we will----”

“We will like it if you brought it up to us.” Celest told the man.

“OK it will be up in a jiffy” The waiter walks off to get the food as well the boat shakes while Shimmer and Booney falls to the ground. Shimmer hits her head and knocks out.

“SHIMMER?!?! DO YOU HEAR ME???? COME ON WAKE UP!!!!” yells Celest as the nurse comes in and helps lift Shimmer on her bed. Someone comes in and knocks out Celest and the nurse.

Shimmer wakes up in a dark room and doesn’t remember anything.

“Where am I?” Shimmer asks in confusement. Shimmer looks around and finds Celest tied up in a chair that is dangling from a metal wire box attached to the celeing from a chain rope.

“CELEST! Are you awake?????” Shimmer asks and starts to panic.

“Yea I’m ok but be quiet we can’t say anything until we know what is going on” Celest whispers loud enough for Shimmer to hear him and ONLY Shimmer can hear him.

“OK, I’ll look around and try to find an escape and a way for you to get down from there.” Shimmer says as she walks into the dark with a flashlight looking back, forth, back, side, and side until she sees someone looking at her with beaming eyes.
