The usual beads of sweat across his forehead, the sudden rush of adrenaline made Sergio jerk back to reality. The familar face cursing and whipping him. The marks still felt fresh from every night mare, but he knew it was not real.Giorgio Azzara was long dead and buried 6ft underground, Sergio made sure of it. Still it felt so real, like he was actually in his father's villia in Florence.
The beautiful paintings adorning one of the best architectural works ever made to man, the well trimmed lawns, flowers of all kinds everywhere...the Azzara villa was a sight to behold, but Sergio knew exactly what was within those walls. The lonliness and hatred he felt, the anger so falsely showered upon him with motherly love from his mother,Elena.
Elena Azzara was concerned with nothing else but herself.Afterall, being married to one of Italy's finest men and billionaire shipping magnate sure had its pecks, she always dined in the finest resturants, front seats at every fashion show, the best clothes and shoes, anything at all; Elena Azzara had it.
Sergio sighed. Today wasn't the time for bad memories, even though he tries so had to forget, they never seem to go away. He wasn't going to get anymore sleep. The few hours was enough for him; at least his sleeping pattern had improved. Several years ago, he couldn't sleep straight for four hours, the most he got was two hours laced with nightmares.
He got up from his bed and walked towards the bathroom. The cold water felt good as he washed his face and dried it. He would shower later he thought. His work had to be done and his presentation today has to be flawless.
"Today is going to be good" he said to himself
"No one is going to ruin it for me."

"Good morning,Mr Azzara!"
Sergio gave a curt nod to Joanna his assistant, as he made his way to his office. Joanna just smiled and followed behind. He looked great in his navy blue three piece suit, with a white dress shirt and black tie.
He always looked awesome, she thought.
"Your coffee, sir"
"Thanks, Joanna. What do you have for me?" he asked while removing the jacket and replacing it on the stand. She watched him roll up the sleeves of his shirt before settling down.
Joanna briefed him and he told her to keep him updated on the new land they were about purchasing.
"yes..sure sir"
