Once upon a time there was a hero. She was strong and fearless and the bravest of all leaders out there. She fought the darkest of the wars and saved the lives of thousands. She is not me. And I am not her.
She's my mother. And this is not her story, its mine.
I am the 'meant to be hero.' The star of the new generation. Im supposed to be intrepid, courageous, gallant and the most valorous leader. But I'm not anything even near that. I tried to be strong. God forbid, I really did. But I don't think I was ever meant to be that way. I like losing myself in poetry and paintings rather than battles and spirits. I pleaded through my eyes, for help, but no one seemed to have heard me. I should have probably screamed louder, ran away to the other end of the world, but I was afraid. And now the lives of everyone I've ever known may be at risk.
And its all because of one stupid mistake. I broke the first rule of every battle.
They say everything is fair in love and war. What happens when its both?
Its better to never even try to find out. I've faced the dilemma but let me tell you this. It only brings doom.
Now I truly understand why they say, "Never fall for the villain."
