"Butterflies are pretty, but they are curses."

In the past

Nobody's POV

Fantaji is a big island, it has four kingdoms in it, along with villages that don't belong to any of the kingdoms. The five kingdoms are the Urarakian kingdom, Eldur(Rings a bell?) the fire kingdom, Doragon the dragon kingdom, and the cursed one. This kingdom is known as the butterfly kingdom. You could say that they are on good terms, they never have a fight, at least, not yet.

"Mom! Look! A pretty butterfly!" A young girl points to a light blue butterfly, which is flying through the flowers in the forest. "It is pretty!" Her mother, a witch smiled. happy that her daughter is amazed.

But, as time flew by, butterflies are now believed as curses too...

"Sadie? Sadie! Please, come back!" The mother is now crying over her daughter's burnt body, the villagers are trying to put her house out of the fire. If you see closely, butterflies are circling the burnt house. The mother looks up, realizing, every time when there is an incident, there are butterflies in the scene. Hatred filled her eyes as she started cursing the butterflies.

"Have no mercy, this is war!" People start blaming the butterfly kingdom for all the incidents. Unfortunately, for the butterfly queen, her son just born when the war began, leaving her with no choice but to leave her son behind.

It was a bloody war, millions of soldiers had died and the rest of them is after the royal family of the butterflies. The queen ran to a river with her son in her hands. She waves her hand as a basket appears quickly. She put her son in it and put the basket in the river. But before the basket flowed away, she whispered something to her son.

"I-I'm sorry Izuku..." A single teardrop dripped into a river as a mother watched her son flowed away with the river, her long dark emerald hair flowing in the wind. She made sure that nobody saw him as she quietly chanted a spell, spinning gracefully as golden shining lines started circling her. A goddess-like young girl flew to the queen and landed beside her. The girl has Wavy blue long hair that reaches down her lower thigh, a diamond tiara on her head. She was wearing a white kimono that had some black flower and butterfly patterns. Pure white feathery giant wings sprout out from her back.

"Dear queen, are you sure you want to do this." The butterfly queen hesitated for a moment before nodding.

"Yes, I do." The goddess nodded her head as she smiled warmly at the queen.

"Your wish is my command."

Suddenly, her wavy flowing hair became spikes as they started cutting the land out. As the butterfly kingdom is completely disconnected from the island, the land started flying up, as if the kingdom grew a pair of butterfly wings. All the soldiers and people except for the goddess and the queen fall from the butterfly kingdom, all the villagers from the butterfly kingdom are luckily being caught by a glowing net as the goddess waved her hand. A white gigantic phoenix caught the villagers too as the dragon queen on the phoenix smiled at her best friend. "Good luck Inko..." She whispered that to her dear friend as she continued with her secret work. The white phoenix also looked at Inko as she let out a cry.

"Rishu, please chant the spell for me." The goddess looked slightly surprised. "Dear queen, are you sure you want this?" Inko nodded with a serious look on her face. With a clap of Rishu's hands, they were both transferred to a big ballroom. Rishu started chanting a spell.

"May all the god and goddesses before me, listen to this queen. I now announce, may the only ones in the butterfly kingdom's bloodline can break this spell. May the queen be trapped here for eternity until her son finds her!" As she chanted the spell, glowing lines circled her. As the words are spoken, all the destroyed buildings and houses rewind back to their original state, vines with flowers started climbing the walls, covering the whole city and the castle. In the center of the castle, there stood the goddess and Inko, who was crystalized in a gigantic gem. Inko looked at Rishu, shone a bittersweet smile before falling to her unconscious state.
