Friday was my last day as a junior and now it's summer. Now, I know a lot of people love summer...but I'm not one of them. Don't get me wrong, I love swimming and all the other stuff summer has to offer, but hot weather- I can't stand it! I would rather be cold than hot any day of the year. That's probably weird, but I honestly don't care.
"Tiffany!" I heard my friend yell my name.
"Hey Paisley, what's up? Got any plans for the summer?" I asked.
"Just the usual job at the frozen yogurt place in town. You know, I could probably get you a job there if you wanted." Paisley was always trying to get me to work there with her but I honestly didn't need a summer job, my family made great money and supplied me with a good allowance every week. I may be seventeen, but I'm not too young for allowance;)
"Paisley, I've told you. I don't need a job. I just want to relax this summer. Look for colleges. Live life. You know?" Even though I knew she understood, she still looked disappointed. She wanted a friend to work with. "Call me later on this afternoon and maybe we can go shopping, okay?" I asked her. I knew she wouldn't turn down an oppurtunity to shop. When she grinned, I knew we had a deal.
"I'll call you. Let's drive your Mini Coop!" She grinned.
"Alright, that's a deal!"
