Yuki sat down a plate of dumplings for everyone."Thank you, Yuki," Mei said, smiling up at her niece.
"Your welcome," Yuki replied smiling back, before she sat down at the table.
"So Lei where are you headed?" Mei asked when they all had started eating.
"I was headed to the edge of Hang-Yu there's a village there that I was going to, I have heard that there's good work there," Lei said, he didn't like lying to them but he had to think of something believable enough, he couldn't let them suspect anything, taking Yuki was proving to be a lot harder then he thought it would, he wasn't like his father he actually cared about what happened to people.
"Where are you from?" Mei asked.
"Where are you from?" Yuki asked breaking the silence.
"I'm from the Yun mountains on a cliff overlooking the Ming river," Lei replied.
"And do you have family back where you come from?" Mei asked.
"Yes, my father I live with him when I'm there anyway," Lei replied.
Mei nodded her head before she went back to eating.

After everyone was finished eating Yuki showed Lei to his room upstairs, "It's not much I'm afraid, but it's warm and dry."
"That's okay, I've been sleeping outside most nights," Lei replied.
Yuki smiled warmly at him before she walked to the doorway right before she left she turned to him, "Goodnight Lei."
"Goodnight Yuki," Lei replied before Yuki left the room.
Lei walked over to the bed and sat down on it, it was soft, unlike the hard ground he had been sleeping on for the past few weeks, he had slept in a proper bed since he left the palace, Lei sighed as he laid back this was so much more difficult then he had expected it would be, if he took Yuki after they had fallen asleep it would so much easier then just taking her now, but what about Mei she was so sweet Yuki being taken would break her heart, especially since she was so weak already.
Lei sighed again as he stared up at the ceiling, Yuki's sweet smile still in his mind as he drifted off to sleep.
