Best mistake

Chapter 6

We stepped out to his car and drove to the local cafe. As we sat down I looked open his face with a smile. I was happy.

"What?" He asked smiling back.

"I just like your smile." He leaned over to kiss me as the waiter brought our menus. We ordered two ceasar salads which we ate pretty quickly. We paid and we left to go meet up with Rose. We arrived in under two minutes from leaving the cafe which was on the other side of town. Ahh the feeling of no traffic and all the lights being green. We parked and walked in to find Rose's back facing us. I saw her texting and then my phone received a text. She turned around flipping her brown hair behind her shoulders. We saw her excited smile.

"Hi guys." She said with happiness in her tone. Her hands were open for a hug which we both accepted.

"Hey Rose." Sebastian said. He really liked her because she stood up to Alex at the bonfire. She patted his head.

"Hello my young Jedi." She replied. They can be so nerdy it is adorable.

"Let's go." We got our tickets, drinks, and candy. Sebastian's arm was around my waist and my arm was around Rose's shoulder. We walked in like a group of bosses. We sat next to each other. This was the perfect day.

After movie

"SLUMBER PARTY" Rose yells as she jumps on my bed.

"YASSSS" I shout back as I jumped on top of her. My backyard led to the beach just like Sebastian's. It was perfect. We can have a bonfire, sing, dance, blast music. My neighbors were all teens and they joined in. Sebastian on the other hand looked at us like we lost our minds.

"I'm gonna.." But I cut him off.

"No you are gonna stay CUZ we both want you here." I said while Rose nodded her head.

"Fine." He said with a smile. I called my other friends as he did too. My house was like a mini mansion and we had guest rooms for when my mom's business associates came for an extended visit. Like I said she travels a lot to support me as my dad is not in the picture. Friends pooled in. One by one with their games, clothes, and food. Then I see a pair of blue eyes staring me down with sympathy and guilt. Alex. Sebastian grabbed my hand knowing I would pounce and beat the living shit out of Alex if I had the chance. I looked at Sebastian and smiled. I started conversing with my friends and we played games. We went outside because it was still warm and sunny.

"Let's play some volleyball." Sky suggested. We got out the net and the ball. We made teams and played while Alex in his blue v neck shirt from hollister and beach shorts was looking at me. Brandon, Caleb, Tristen, Luke, and Sebastian took off their shorts reaching their toned body and switched to beach shorts. Keep in mind this is in May. I had my bikini with a loose sheer cover up top. We played until the sun went down.

"Let's watch a movie."

"If u could follow me to the cinema room." I said. Yes I have a mini movie theater provided by my mom's promotion. I sat down next to Sebastian's seat while Alex sat on the other side of me. Sebastian put on Pitch Perfect. He saw Alex and rushed over and whispered in my ear. "Do you want me to do something?"

"No. We need to talk. Can you please sit with the guys. If I need help I'll call." He nodded and looked Alex in the eye. He looked back over to me knowing Alex is watching and kissed me. He nodded and went. Sky took his seat and the movie began. I felt Alex look at me.

"Please say something." I heard from him. I looked at him.

"What should I say to you. What can I say to you that won't get you mad or impulsive?"

"Why are you with him."

"He doesn't hurt me like you."

"I don't mean to hurt. I just love you Lena. And I have been loving you."

"Alex I don't think you know the meaning of love."

"That's the thing I do. Because when I look at you I smile and when I see you with him my heart breaks." I felt his hand on mine. Then his lips on my neck moving up.

"Alex." I stuttered. I pulled away.

"Lena please understand that I love you." I felt tears running down my face. All the times I wanted him and the times we laughed together. All the times we hugged and smiled. And now that I have Sebastian, things in this situation got worse.

"Maybe we should talk in a more quiet area." I nodded in agreement and he took my hand and together we walked out. When we got out I saw a familiar head of brown hair with female arms wrapped around him. And then I knew.
