POV Amanda (detective)
After saying goodbye to Olivia, Fin and the new guy aka Sonny Carisi, Nick and I went into the elevator and went to our cars. We said our goodbyes and we went into our cars and went home.

After a long day of work I was excited to go home and to see Jessie and Frannie.

I was just driving near the park close to my apartment when I saw a young girl laying on the bench. It seemed like she was asleep. I decide to park my car and go check on her.

When I got to bench where she was laying on I bent down and laid my hand on her shoulder to wake her up.

As soon as I did that she flinched and I immediately took my hand of her shoulder. She got scared and started breathing heavily.

POV Amanda (the girl)
I flinched and opened my eyes to see whose hand was on my shoulder and there was a blond woman with beautiful blue eyes. I went to sit straight on the bench and started breathing heavily. She noticed that so she said 'Match my breathing, slowly in and out. Breath, honey, breath' in a soothing voice.
It helped and I calmed down.

'I am detective Rollins but you can call me Amanda'. She said while holding her badge.

POV Amanda (detective)
Het eyes lit up after I told her that my name was Amanda.

'My name is Amanda too' she said in a soft voice.

'How old are you sweetie?' I asked her.

'I am 10' she said back in the same soft voice.

'Why are you all alone in the park at 8 PM?' Where are your parents honey?' I asked her. She didn't answer that question straight away. It seemed like she was thinking about what to say.

POV Amanda (the girl)
When the nice detective asked me why I was here and where my parents were, I started to get nervous. I was debating in my head of what to say. Detective Amanda kept looking at me, waiting for an answer.
So I finally said something while holding back tears. Cause I don't like to cry in front of people. And my said crying is for weak people and he always hit me more if I cry.

'Ehhm my mum died when I was 6 and my dad is at home.'

'I'm so sorry honey, I bet you miss her.'

Then she asked me the question I was hoping she wouldn't ask.

'If your dad is at home, then why are you here sweetie?'

I was again debating in my head of what to say. Should I tell the truth or should I lie was the question in my head. If I lie then she will leave me here and I will probably end up at home again. If I tell the truth than my dad goes to jail and I will have to go to child services cause dad is the only family I have. But at the same time he will kill me one way or another. Cause he said if you tell anyone then you're dead.

Then I realized that I was thinking too long and detective Amanda was still looking at me and waiting for an answer. And she was still bending down so I decided that she could next to me on the bench.

'Detective Amanda do you want to sit on the bench?'

POV Amanda (the detective)
I was thankful when she asked that question cause my knees started to hurt of bending down for 10 minutes straight.

'Yes, thank you.'

I went to sit next to her and asked her again why she isn't home with her dad. I saw the look on her face when I asked again. And it seemed like she was kind of disappointed. I think she was asking me if I wanted to sit on the bench because she was trying to avoid the question about her dad.
