Chapter 1

TRIGGER WARNING: INFREQUENT SWEARING

With the curtains tightly closed shut, only a small streak of sunlight managed to creep into the tangerine of a boy's room. The light landed right on his eyes causing Shouyo Hinata to stir in his sleep. The poor boy was then jolted awake by the rather annoying and persistent beeping of his alarm clock. The boy groaned as he sat up in his single bed and rubbed his eyes. Probably too much as they stung a bit afterwards. He looked to the wall across his bed and saw the calendar marking what the day was. His eyes widened with excitement as he jumped out of bed. The adrenaline in him caused him to not see that his bed was, in fact, completely surrounded with white plastic cups filled to the brim with water. The moment he saw this, was when he was 3 feet in the air and had almost no time to react.

His feet crushed the cups underneath him as he landed on the floor. The instability of the ground caused Hinata to trip and fell on his back. After hearing the snickers that came from behind him, his head whipped around with a shocked expression which was laced with irritation. There, half hiding behind the door with his phone out recording him was none other than his dorm mate, Tobio Kageyama. Hinata's face flushed a light pink from embarrassment which only caused the ravenette boy to laugh louder.

"BAKAYAMA!!" Hinata screamed. Which earned him a surprised look from the other boy before he quickly ran out of the room half screaming and laughing "Ah! No! I'm sorry please!".

The orange haired boy jumped to his feet and quickly ran after him in pursuit. When it came to speed, no one could beat Hinata. In a matter of seconds, he had reached Kageyama and without hesitation jumped at him with all his might. At that moment, Kageyama turned around to see where the ginger was only to be greeted by a jumping Hinata. As Hinata made contact with him they both toppled over and fell onto the floor. They both laughed until Hinata's laughter died out and went silent. Kageyama gave Hinata a look that said, 'What's wrong?'. Hinata looked away from him and Kageyama saw a deep scarlet blush appear on Hinata's face. He then noticed the position they were in. Hinata was in between Kageyama's legs while they wrapped around him as he lay on his chest.. He hadn't even realised that he had wrapped his legs around him. Neither of them knew what to do now and so they stayed in that position before hearing someone speak behind them.

"Ew. What the fuck are you two dumbasses doing."

The two boys looked up to see their other dorm mate, Kei Tsukishima looking down at them with a disgusted look plastered on their face.

"Never mind. I don't even wanna know." he said as he walked off and put the grocery bags he was carrying on the countertop. As the two scrambled to their feet, their last dorm mate walked through the door left open by Tsukishima.

"What were they doing, Tsukki?" asked the green haired boy. Tadashi Yamaguchi. He smirked while saying it indicating what he thought they were doing.

"It wasn't like that!" Both Hinata and Kageyama said at the same time. They looked at each other with a blush on their faces earning themselves a laugh from Yamaguchi and an annoyed groan from Tsukishima.

"Soooo.. anywayy.." started Hinata, desperately trying to change the subject, "Are you guys excited for today?"

"It's just like every other day, isn't it?" Tsukishima said bluntly.

"You can't be serious." Hinata retorted.

"I don't know why today's so special either." Yamaguchi said while he started unloading the stuff they brought back from the shops.

"You guys wound me that you've forgotten.." a deep yet smooth voice from behind them started.

"..Today's the day I come back" he said with a smirk, his eyes glistening with malevolence.

The three flinched at the mere sight of him whereas Hinata ran to him with open arms. Kageyama, Yamaguchi and Tsukishima gave each other a look before staring at the man who had just entered their dorm. Possibly the devil himself...
