ACT 2 SCENE 1
-Kayla and Chelsie enter the morgue to find chaos. Maddy and Alexys are racing around throwing papers at each other and into boxes and arguing.
Maddy: This is all your fault.
Alexys: My fault? This is not my fault.
Maddy: I was on lunch break. It has to have been your fault.
Alexys: I was in the bathroom!
-Both stop and notice Kayla and Chelsie for the first time.
Kayla: Is this a bad time?
Alexys and Maddy: *Look at each other, back at Kayla and Chelsie, and then point at each other* She did it!
Chelsie: Are you talking about the bodies going missing?
Alexys and Maddy: *Look at each other, back at Kayla and Chelsie, and then point at each other* She lost them!
Kayla: Okay, *Motions to both of them* she did it. We’re just here to ask about your pictures.
Alexys: We told the chief everything we knew.
Maddy: We were going over the surveillance footage when he called.
-Alexys and Maddy start picking up papers and putting them in their boxes.
Chelsie: *To Kayla* Didn’t he say he had a guy down here?
Kayla: *To Chelsie* Learn the lingo. Everyone’s a guy.
Chelsie:* To Kayla* Right. Is it just me, or does it look like they’re packing?
Kayla: *To Chelsie* You’re right. *Normal voice* Hey, why are you packing?
Maddy: Might as well start early.
Alexys: We’re so fired.
Kayla: I think we have a way to help you.
Alexys: Nothing can help us. We lost two bodies.
Kayla: But if you help find them, you’d redeem yourselves.
Maddy: Too much work. They're gone! It's hopeless.
Alexys: I think we should give it a try. I mean, What coud it hurt?
Maddy: We could get super-fired?
Alexys: We're already fired.
Chelsie: You might not be. You still have a chance.
Maddy: I'll believe it when we get a paper that says we're not.
Alexys: But that could be weeks! We have to help them find the bodies. It is our fault they went missing.
Maddy: *Exasperatedly* Alright. Here’s hoping we can keep our jobs.
Alexys: Yay!
Kayla: Alright. Lets get down to business. Tell me everything that happened.
