Emilynn scanned the forest from the tall nightshade tree. The forest was utterly dark and dry, it was hard to  be quiet with all the leaves beneath your feet and thorn which you would cry if you stepped on. Making a noise could attract some unwanted attention.

It wasn't until now that Emilynn noticed the light that shone on the far path. At first she turned her head and raised an eyebrow. Soon, she noticed it was a lamp on a carriage. A mischevious grin grew on her face, her master would be proud. She jumped from tree to tree until she reahced the edge of the path where the dirt met man-made stone. Emilynn could see the carriage, it was snow-white and had a trim of gold. Unless she was mistaken by the blinding darkness, it was a carriage from the land of Erim. Sworn enemy of Vildar.

The carriage came more into view, deffinently someone wealthy. Maybe she would find some tokens, or a nice dress for special occasions? Emilynn snorted at the thought, What was the possiblity of me, a dark enchantress and spy, going to a 'special event'? Well one thing was for sure, she was going to rob it, and hang them by their horses's reins.

The enchanting carriage was about 3 yards away now. She quickly snuck down the tree and grabbed a stone bigger than her hand and chucked it at the carriage. The ride quickly came to a stop as the driver looked around confused. She took a large straw out of my pocket and loaded a tranquilizer dart, then  quickly blew through the straw and hit the driver in the neck. He quickly was paralyzed and fell over on his side, hitting the ground with a painful clunk.

A man jumped out of the carriage and when Emilynn recognized him, a smile came to her face. "You!" Ben said in an angry tone, pointing at Emilynn. She slid down the tree, adjusting her black leather suit. She hated this outfit, it left her legs, arms, and stomach bare. "Oh you recognized me?" she smiled, causing my eyemask to shift up. "Of course I did, how could I not recognize my true love?" Emilynn laughed and quickly threw her arms around him.

"What are you doing here?" she whispered, "It's not safe." Ben frowned, "It's not safe anywhere." Emilynn took her arms back from around him, "You're in enemy territory." He brushed his hand throgh her hair, "Are you calling me you're enemy?"

"No."

"Them I'm not."

"You're enemies with my Clan."

"I suppose that's true,"

"Go away." Emilynn said pushing against his chest. "But you tranquilized my driver." She frowned and focused her energy on the driver, who started to mumble and wake up. "Now he's awake, so go!" Ben leaned down and gave Emilynn a quick kiss on the lips, "Bye, Em." he said as he walked towards his carriage. "Bye" Emilynn said, barely waving with her hand, then focused her energy and slipped back into the shadows and quickly teleported herself to the castle. She wished ben and herself were on the same side in this war, it was hard. Emilynn felt torn in half, between her loyalty to her love and her loyalty to her Clan. She started to trudge back to her room when a voice echoed through the air, "Going  somewhere?"
