"HEY! GUYS?!" I yell into the dense, swaying trees, looking around myself.
I listen out but all I hear is the trees rustling in the wind.
"I stopped for two seconds...." I whisper to myself, getting my phone out of my pocket, beginning to worry.
I unlock it and notice it has no bars, I feel my heart start to race as I fully realise my situation.
I put my phone back in my pocket and look around me. I hear running water.
I pin point the direction it's coming from and move through the trees to find the stream, I hope it's this way.
I rustle through the woods, finally stumbling across the stream.
"Follow it the way it's flowing.." I whisper to myself, looking at it, noticing that it's flowing right, I start my trek.
"GUYS!" I yell out in the open, startling birds from the trees.
I look up to see twilight starting to set in the sky.
I sit down against a tree and lay my backpack next to me.
Feeling my eyes go heavy from the anxiety and the long trek today, I shut my eyes for a moment.

I feel something press against my arm, then again, then multiple times.
I open my eyes slightly and see the ceiling, I close my eyes again but then jolt up in panic.
"Hey hey, it's fine, you're safe." This kind sounding voice came from beside me and I jerk my head over to look at them.
This girl is sitting on a chair next to my bed with medical supplies next to her. She has brown hair coming down to her shoulders and she seemed a medium height from what I can tell. She is wearing black glasses that are shining from the light.
I look to her, resting my back on the pillows and the head board.
"Where am I?" I ask her, looking around the well decorated room.
"You're in a spare bedroom. I found you in the woods whilst collecting berries and I got my dad to help bring you back here so we could look after you. You're in the kingdom of Fayli.
I frown at her and she chuckles.
"We've never had a human here so, welcome" she smiles at me and my eyes grow wide.
"I'm sorry. Aren't you humans?" I ask, trying to figure out how I feel at that moment.
"No. We are Elves." I raise an eyebrow at this but she moves her hair to show her elven ears and she smiles at me.
She gets up and looks at me, now I'm speechless.
"Anyway, get ready, the King wants to see you." She then turns around and exits the room.

I sit on the edge of my bed and look around the room. Now that I have gotten my bearings I notice that the room is completely normal. Like human things but somewhat prettier.
"It's beautiful" I whisper to myself as I get to my feet.
I look in the wardrobe and see she's put some fancy Elven clothes in there and I take them out.
The clothes are normal human clothes but they are in a fashion I have never seen before, I like them.
I smile and put them on, making sure I look presentable for the king of the elves.
As I think that I scoff in disbelief.
"Elves." I say out loud and shake my head in front of the mirror.
I'm incredibly calm for seeing Elves but why shouldn't I be, my first impression of them Is great. I look in the mirror one last time and exit the room to see the girl waiting for me.
"What's your name?" I ask her, as I begin following her down the stairs.
"April." She says, behind her to look at me.
"And yours?" She smiles and looks ahead again.
"Tom." I say, walking out the door.
I stop in my tracks.
"Wow." I say to April.
The street is made from stone and the houses are in the fashion of old England but re-made.
There's Elves and animals everywhere, the animals are from elephants to cats, they're all looking after each other in peace and I feel myself get relaxed, some elves are selling various goods on the street, some running around doing certain tasks or enjoying their day.
They're all wearing different things, some fancy, some casual. I love the elven fashion.
April grabs my hand and pulls me through the street as I slowly take in my surroundings.
