Chapter 2 ~ The Big City
"We have now arrived at L.A please exit the train in an orderly fashion. Thank you for riding with midnight escape express and have a nice day." The driver said through the loud speaker awakening me from my deep sleep. I sleepily rubbed my eyes and quickly perked up very happy that my plan had worked so far. Now I just have to find something to eat I thought. Something cheep and I need some place to stay the night. Hey maybe i could get some...........My thought was stopped as soon as my foot met the cement of the sidewalk and my eyes met the city.
It was amazing. Light shone themselves everywhere the eye could wander. Showing themselves off as they shone as bright as the stars. And the buildings stood so strong and tall that they appeared to touch the night sky. It was the most amazing sight I have ever seen in my 16 years of life and it caused my eyes to widen so big that it seemed unimaginable. I knocked out of my fantasy when someone shoved me and continued walking.
Oh, I don't think so.
"hey idiot watch were your going next time" I yelled falling back into my usual self.
He turned around and I gasped in surprise. He was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. His black eyes seemed to shine brighter then thelights that competed with the stars, His black hair had a bang covering one eye and had the just got of bed style. For some reason that I didn't know my eyes couldn't seem to leave his black eyes that pulled me in with an unbreakable chain.
His melodic laugh brought me out of the trance I had been stuck in and my face instantly changed colors and as if on cue he chuckled again causing my face which probably now looked like a tomato to turn a few shades darker.
I Had now lost my train of thought and the little part of my brain that was working told me I had to get out of there before I made a fool of myself....again
"well, I'm just gonna....Uh....go now so bye" I said stuttering on every word that escaped my mouth. I then proceded to run like the coward I am to a pizza place.
As soon as I walked in all thoughts of embarresment left my mind only to be replace my one thing. Food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is pizza heaven I though as I practically sprinted to the counter licking my lips. I rarely ever got a good meal back home. Just the scraps my dad left when he was finished eating.
I pulled out 10 bucks and bout three humoungus slices of the best food in the world.
After my order was finally finished I found a seat and ate my pizza wait, the better word for what i did to the pizza I think is inhaled. Yup, I practically inhaled the best pizza I have ever had in my life.
After that I found a park bench and layed down my head full from the pizza and tired from the days journey I had.
The final thought that entered my head was that I was finally free. But, of course being me I just had to go and Jinx it.
