<<Hotchner's P.O.V>>
After building the fort today with Jack, we were both so tired, we fell asleep very early, only for me to be woken up at 6am from Garcia, telling me that we had a new case.
Natalie was coming in today, and the team was informed about her arrival. Jessica was coming over, so that she would later drop Jack at school. I was so thankful that I could have her by my side when there was an emergency at work.
I arrived at the BAU, I opened the door, but once I came in, I heard a group of people sigh out of sadness and frustration.
"Ouch." I said in confusion.
"Oh my god, guys !" Garcia scolded the rest of the team. "We're sorry Hotch, we are just waiting for the new girl" she continued as the others nodded.
"So Hotch, Rossi and Morgan have met the new girl right?" JJ said.
"She should be here by now." I say checking my watch.
"Well, if you gave her a regular schedule she will probably come at 8 am" Prentiss spoke up.
"I actually texted her, and even called her but she is not answering." Rossi said.
"Guys I'm sorry to interrupt, but we need to get this case started. Like, immediately." Garcia reminded us. I looked over at Reid. He hadn't said a word since I came in. Just stayed on the side, looking like a hurt puppy.
"We will fill the new girl in, once she comes." Derek said and we quickly agreed.
We all soon settled down in our chairs, and the meeting started.
"Yvonne Johnson." Garcia spoke up, and clicked the remote to show the pictures of the body.
"First victim, found in 475 Long Bridge Park, along with the second and third victim."
"It looks like he has settled for an abandoned park and made it his graveyard." Rossi pointed out.
Although I got in deep thought, as the memories of Carter saying that she felt someone watching her at that exact same park came back.
I was soon disrupted from my thoughts, when Prentiss touched my shoulder to bring me back to reality.
"Hotch, are you okay?" She asked me.
"I'm fine." I said, not being truthful at all.
"All brunettes, brown eyed young women, who seemed to have jobs that made them powerful." Garcia continued.
