A woman was lying on the ground, tears streaming down her face. Her youngest sister leaned forwards with concern, but she was swatted away, as the crying woman pushed herself up. "Dee" She said hoarsely. Another girl straightened, stepping into the light from where she had been watching in the corner. "Find the kids. I'll trust you know what to do from there." She ordered. Dee nodded, snapping her fingers as she disappeared, teleporting to who knows where.
"Izzy, we just committed a crime and took the very life force from this woman's body! What are you planning on doing now!" Her sister yelled. The crying woman froze solid at her words. "We didn't kill her!" Her sister stepped back, seeming startled at the outburst. "Ivy knew full well of the risks of this! She walked into this knowing she could die!" Her sister bit her lip and snapped back, "You told her it would be okay."
Izzy whirled on her, her hands frosting as they often did when she was upset. "You know nothing Starla!"
"I-" They both froze at the sounds of footsteps. Starla looked around, eyes wide.
"We have to go." Izzy ordered, grabbing Starlas hand. "But-"
"Ivy! Are you here?" Destiny's voice called out. Izzy trembled. "Her lunch break ended a while ago, people will be looking for her. Come on before we get in trouble!" And with that Izzy snapped, teleporting away the same way Dee had, pulling Starla with her.Another woman stepped into the echoing cavern. She held up a lantern, glancing around as she called out again, "Ivy!" She rounded the corner, and caught sight of something on the ground. She froze solid, and the lantern slipped out of her grasp, crashing onto the floor.
