        Metana Interplanetary Spaceport, Metana

Vulcan stepped off the ship. He hadn't seen Teresa since this morning at breakfast and hoped to never see her again. He slung his dufflebag over his shoulder. A street vendor called out to him. "Hey mon, you want a box of wontons?"

The mutant declined. The streets of Metana were familiar enough, he had been here before. On one of his first mercenary missions. He planned to visit some old acquaintances. Maybe even head to the Black Eagle Club.

        "Hey! Kid!

Shit. The blasted sabertooth had tracked him down. He turned to her. "Hi, Ter...whoa..."

She was dressed very sexily in a form fitting skirt and suit top. Almost like the clothing of a female lawyer, but much hotter. Her temper was obviously flared.

"Don't 'Hi Teresa' me, little man!" Teresa gripped the pyrokinetic's shoulders. "You said you'd wait for me!"

The woman's grip was extremely strong. Vulcan was immediately lifted into the air. "Ah...shit...Teresa, put me down!"

Surprisingly, she set him down. Vulcan rubbed his neck and in a minute, his bruises flared, causing them to disappear. "Look, it's a looooong story. We can't stay together."

        "And why not?"

"You've got your life, I've got mine. We have seperate paths to go down."

        "We had sex."

"We had some fun and it was great. Don't get me wrong. But, it's time we went on our ways."

Teresa knelt. "I won't forget you, little man."

Vulcan shared her embrace. "Thanks. Thanks for everything."

She stood and wiped a tear. "Well. I've got a spaceship to reboard."

Vulcan nodded and began to walk away. His hands shook so much, it was hard to pull out the cigarette and snap his fingers to light it.

        Then he stopped.

The cigarette dropped from his hands.

He turned around and saw her in the reboarding line. Her furry golden face was stained by a multitude of tears. Vulcan immediately began running towards the line. "Teresa!"

She turned and saw him snap his fingers. The guide-ropes on each side of the line burned away. People gasped and muttered. Teresa managed to break a smile.

"Teresa, I was wrong, I'm sorry!" Vulcan held out his hand. "Come with me!"

The cat-like woman knelt again. "What happened, little man? What happened to 'seperat paths' and all that stuff?"

"I was wrong, Teresa! Maybe we have the same path!" He gripped her soft, golden face in his hands. "Will you come with me?"

Teresa swept him up in her arms and kissed him. Long, deep and satisfying. Her huge tongue caressed the inside of his mouth.

"Excuse, me. Sir? Ma'am? Are you going or staying?" The security guard stepped up.

Vulcan looked Teresa in her molten-gold eyes and smiled. "We'll be staying."
