Sleeping in a public space is an interesting concept.
Will others be considerate?
Yes. In this instance.
My crew member and I were on an overnight shift and our dispatcher was looking for a late night snack in the kitchen a few paces away from where we were sleeping. The entire building was so silent a pin could be heard if it hit the floor.
The dispatcher could've been loud closing the cabinets and opening the refrigerator, however he took extra care to make sure none of the doors slammed shut.
I watched as he did this, unaware he was being simply observed.
Its small moments like these that others may think little of, "I'm just being considerate" he may say. But it's moments like these when you may suspect no ones watching and you do the right thing.
These moments restore my faith in humanity.
