chapter sixteen

K: is the king in pain?

A: yes, unfortunately.

Amirah saw a tear stream down Katherines face. She quickly wiped the tear and spoke up.

A: but don't you worry! Good is to come very soon...

Katherines face lit up and her smile beamed for miles.

A: the next few days were hard. Four, of the royal 5 had still been hospitalized, and the Princess and Prince Alejandro found it difficult to keep up...

Alejandro: well that wouldn't work.

Calli: but why not? I mean if y'all needa get your load at the docks by 7 then why not-

We heard the front door open, and footsteps approach. Alejandro snatched his gun and stood in front of me, prepared for anything.

Roshaun: GUESS WHOS BACK BITCH!!!

I screamed in excitement before running past Alejandro and to the door, hugging Roshaun tightly. Alejandro smiled and brought Roshaun in for a hug.

Calli: thank GOD it's been so hard.

Roshaun: well you got one more back, so it'll be a little easier. We'll just get everyone back one by one I guess.

We nodded and headed to the kitchen, where we explained what he'd missed and how he was gonna chip in. We didn't have to care about the computer techs, because Kairi could lead them virtually. Lucky bitch. We worked on our separate stuff for three hours, and finally called it a day.

Calli: there's nothing to do. Any news about the boys at the hospital?

Roshaun: Kairi had a spaz, they had to calm him down but he's alright.

Alejandro: what?! and they didn't call us?!

Roshaun: n e wayz.. Alvaro is doing just fine, and should probably be released soon.

Calli: did mattia wake up?

Roshaun: ....no. not yet. he's still asleep, and he's pretty banged up. Though it's been a few days I'm sure he's gotta wake up soon.

I nodded my head slowly. Shit. I heard my phone ring. I picked it up and looked at them.

Calli: I love answering calls having a phone is so cool.

I squealed as they chuckled. I accepted the call and answered.

Calli: hello?

??: hi, this is the hospital holding Kairi Cosentino, Alvaro Romero, and Mattia Polibio?

Calli: yes?

??: Mattia Polibio has woken up.

My eyes lit up with hope, and I told them thanks. I hung up and sprinted out the door.

a&r: where are you going?

Calli: mattia woke up!

They ran after me, and all piled into Ale's car. Once we got to the hospital I ran into the doors and sprinted to Mattias room. I saw him, awake and looking around confused. He spotted me through the window, and smiled. I walked in and walked towards him.

Calli: hey stranger.

I said as I wrapped my arms around him. He slowly, but surely returned my hug, gently. Almost as if he was fragile. Alejandro and Roshaun came in and hugged him too.

Alejandro: how you been?

Mattia: not good.

The first words he'd said in a week. I saw as his face started to get pale, and he didn't look to hot. I rushed to a trash can and brought it over, just as Mattia started to puke. I rubbed his back, trying to calm him down.
