Chapter 10
Taylor's POV
I got in his car to see a smile as big as the sun.
"Hi", I said giggling.
"Hey", he said laughing back.
"So where to", I asked buckling up.
"I don't where do you wanna go", he asked driving away from my house.
"What can we go do?"
"We could go see a movie, we could go to the park and mess around, go to my house", he said driving slow.
"We could to your park and if we get bored go to your house", I said.
"Okay", he said the drove to the park.
We just listened to music until we got there. Alex rushed out of the car and came to my side to open the door for me.
"You really wanna open the door, don't ya", I laughed.
"Sure", he said with a smirk.
We walked to the park and sat on the swings. I looked at him for a second then he looks over and I instantly look away probably embarrassing myself.
"So, what do you wanna talk about", he said.
"Um we could ask each other something's."
"Okay do you want me to go first", he said making eye contact.
"Sure", I said softly.
"Um this is gonna be a hard question to answer, but how did your parents die", he asked. He was right it was hard for me to answer.
"They died in a car accident. It's hard to believe that I saw their car flipped over in that ditch", I said as a tear streamed down my face.
"Oh. I'm sorry Taylor."
"It's fine I mean I guess it happened so I could be spending time with you", I said with smile looking at him. "Um do you have any siblings other than your sister?"
"Yeah, there's Andrew who is just a couple years younger than me, then there's Adam who I think is 7 but you know. I don't remember a lot of things", he said laughing.
"Same", I said laughing with him,
"Do you miss where ever you came from before", he asked.
"Yeah, specially my best friend Danny, you'd love him. We always did something on Friday. The last time I was at home we went to the movies", I said remembering how much fun I had with Danny growing up.
"Oh, I bet I would. If he's friends with you then he could easily be friends with me."
"How long have you and Austin been friends", I asked.
"6th grade, we were wearing the same kind of shoes but mine were red. And we just be came friends ever since", he said.
"Shoes", I laughed.
"Don't laugh I bet you you meeting Danny isn't as unique as Austin and I meeting", he said.
"Actually I this kid in my grade was hitting on me when I was in like 3rd grade and Danny well he kinda broke his face everywhere", I said.
"Well I'm glad he was there to save you", he said laughing.
"Yeah, me too", I said.
*2 hours later*
We've just been talking about random things. It was getting kinda cold out so he said we could go back to his house and hang out.
So right now we are on our way to his house.
We pulled up to his house. I just opened my door for myself I didn't want to wait for him to run over here and open it for myself.
He walked up next to me and opened the door for me to his house. I walked in and took off my shoes.
"Mom I'm home", he shouted then a little boy came running into the room.
"Alex, I have to show you something", the boy said. "Who's your friend?"
"This is Taylor, Austin's sister", he said pointing at me.
"Hi", I said waving.
"That's Adam", Alex said.
"Hi", he said. "Hurry Alex it's important."
We followed Adam to what I was guessing his room. He had a video game up.
"I beat the level finally", he said.
I smiled. Brother relationship goals.
