Emilia's Perspective

I began dusting the ceilings after moving most of the things on one side. Blake should be home by tonight. After all, he still needs to go home.

Wiping the sweat on my forehead, I climbed down the stool I'm on and moved to the glass door. It's awfully dirty. I wonder why...

As I wiped the door, I caught sight of a familiar car driving in the parking lot. Going out into the balcony, I took a closer look.

Squealing, I ran to the door then locked it. Why is Blake home so early? I haven't even finished cleaning up! Taking my phone from the table, I sent him a message.

Hey, so I'm cleaning the house right now. Can you wait for a while?
====================================

I'm sweating a lot. He might smell me and find it stinky... I should shower quickly after cleaning.

I can help you. Besides, you looked tired when you looked at me from up there ^_^
====================================

Is it alright to feel happy? Ah seriously... I still won't let him though. He might be allergic to dirt.

What are you talking about? I'm full of stamina! Just wait! I'll even cook for you!!!
====================================

Placing my phone down, I fixed my ponytail before going back to cleaning. Let's clean at a fast pace and let Blake in!

Once I opened the pot, my mouth dropped. My soup looks like poison! Oh no! I just ruined lunch for me and Blake!

I heard laughter behind me. As soon as I turned around, I bumped onto Blake's chest. "I knew this would happen. Cooking was never your specialty." He ruffled my hair.

"I tried! I really did... I even followed a recipe from the internet." I felt tears form in my eyes as I searched for the recipe I followed. "See?"

"I get it. I'm glad that you tried your best, but I don't want you getting sick. I'll handle cooking." He made me sit on a chair then cleaned the used pots and pan before preparing our meal.

"You're not angry?" I asked as I watched him move from the kitchen island to the stove.

"Why would I be?" Because I failed...because I made him wait for nothing...Argh! I feel bad! "Don't beat yourself up. Everyone has their own flaws. No one can be good at everything."

I can't believe I'm hearing that from him. He's basically talented at every field. Nonetheless...I appreciate him.

"...I love you!" I said loudly which made him drop the spoon he's holding

"D-don't say that without warning me!" I giggled when he blushed. It was faint, but it was evident.
