stuck with you

As you stuff your papers in your bag, Namjoon walks up to you. "Hey Kathy you ignored my email." He scratched his head slightly. "Oh sorry I just felt like I should finish my work." You look down knowing you lied to him, it always felt wrong lying to you best friend. You both begin to walk towards the elevator when your boss Min Yoongi approaches, he nods and you all enter the elevator.

You and Namjoon exchange looks and quietly stand still behind Mr Yoongi. Once they elevator opens, Mr Yoongi steps out and leaves. You both sigh and exit the elevator.

The sky is dark and the wind is blowing, you feel the breeze in you hair and u take a deep breath. "Don't you wish there was something more Joon?" You look up at the sky. "Not really I'm pretty fine how I am." He looks at you.

As you both walk silently in the quiet city,you notice a flower shop. You slowly walk towards the shop and gaze through the window. In the window is a single rose, a petal slowly falls off and you sigh. "I guess this is how things are.." You slowly slide you hands down the glass, "You wish for something you can never have." You turn around and face Namjoon, "I guess I'm stuck with you then." you smille.

The rest of the walk home was silent, something was definitely off with Namjoon but I didn't want to bother him.. You walk to your door and wave Namjoon goodbye.

You throw down you bag and lay down on your bed, you let out a deep sigh. Takings off your skirt and unbottoning your shirt, you begin to fall asleep.

You feel the warm sun on your face, you stretch and get out of bed. Walking to the bathroom you yawn, you take off your clothes and step in the shower. After you finish you quickly dry off and apply makeup. You walk to you closet and put on clothes.

Walking out the door, you grab your keys and an apple, it was 3:42 so you had to hurry. Work was only ten minutes away and you were confident you would make it.

Driving down the road, you get stopped by a red light. You glance at your phone to check the time, and back at the road. The road was filled with traffic, worry filled your head. "Will I be able to make it?" you thought in doubt.

Fifteen minutes later you finally reach the building, "What's gonna happen to me.?" You rush towards the elevator and you eyes are filled with worry. Once you make it into your office you meet eyes with Namjoon. He lowers his head and you look at your desk, all your papers and things are stuffed into a box.

"I guess im not stuck with you after all.." you whisper, you grab your things and turn to the elevator.
