Chapter 9

5 days later Jackie's POV:
I woke up to my head killing me. The first thing I heard was people talking in the corner. So the first thing I do is look over to see who it is.It is space walker, jasper, Monty and Octavia.
Nobody has noticed that I'm awake yet and I see that they are drinking alcohol so I say, "Can I get some of that?" and they all look at me and start running to me.
The first one by my side is octavia and she grabs my hand. "Why hello there." I say. And everybody else just laughs.
Then Jasper comes up the ladder with some water and says, "Why don't we start you out with the easy stuff." So I drink the water and then Clarke comes up the ladder.
"Thank god you awake I don't think I could've dealt with anyone else dying tonight." She says.
"I'll try not to die again tomorrow if that's all right but who else died?" I asked her back curious to why she looked so shaken up.
Then she said the one name I didn't want her to say. Scarlett.
I think the whole group saw my face drop because they asked me what was wrong and who she was to me but I didn't respond to any of them I just thought of the first time we met.
Flashback to 3 years ago
  When I was in the skybox I met this girl named Scarlett. We were put in the same cell and we became best friends. The first time Clarke came to visit me she also met Scarlett and they became close friends too. We were inseparable until they moved our cells around and I didn't see her again.
Present day:
"And the next time I saw her was on the drop ship. I meant to say hi but I got distracted and now I never can." I say as I start tearing up.
Then they all hug me and we just sit like that for a while until Clarke says I need rest.
