The Double agent

Dumbledore had announced that a new student would be joining the 4th years and he was pleased to note that he was sorted into Gryffindor the new student sat next to Harry
"The names Dan" Dan said
"Harry potter" harry said
"Ginny weasley"
"Hermione granger"
"Ronald Weasley"
"Nice to meet you all apparently there's a tournament going on I wouldn't advise entering but I might enter." He said calmly putting some food on his plate
"I don't want to enter it'll just give me alot of attention" harry said smirking Dan chuckled at this he had heard of the famous harry potter or t
Has he was known as  the boy who lived.
"What would you say is your best subject" Hermione said eagerly
"Well funny thing is I don't have one I seem to possess very good knowledge of all subjects I don't like to brag but I do like DADA." Dan replied
"Do you like quidditch." Ginny asked
Dan turned to look at her s Je was very pretty he pushed those thoughts out of his head "I haven't played it much but beater is probably my best position." He said
they continued to chat about who knows what until the feast ended and they headed up to the common room and from there to their separate dormitories.
"I guess I'm in with you guys" Dan said
"Yeah don't worry we're aren't to bad" harry said smirking
"Nah no worries lad I'm cool with it."
Dan said chuckling to himself
The Next day.
Dan was eating some toast with harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny he kept glancing at Ginny from time to time before he got up to head to potions with Harry, Hermione and Ron
"So." Malfoy drawled behind them with his 'bodyguards' " The new student is hanging around with blood traitors and mudbloods especially weasel-me" he spat
Dan winked at harry before turning around to face Malfoy he instantly disliked him.
"Got a problem malfoy because I'm pretty sure that if you didn't have those 'bodyguards' you'd be cowering in fear all ego and talk but no action"
Dan said calmly with a look that said
'Sod off before I give you a piece of my mind'
"I'm not scared of you Crabbe, Goyle show the blood traitor here who is boss around here" Draco ordered
Crabbe and Goyle advanced on Dan but harry remembered seeing Dan getting changed into his night wear and seeing him with a very built upper body he had abs for sure and his muscles weren't grossly huge but not unnoticeable he grinned
Go kick some ass Harry thought Dan had heard that because he dodged Crabbes punch and he round-house kicked Goyle in the face and when Crabbe came in for another swing can blocked it with his hand and crushed it breaking his hand people were cheering Dan on as Malfoy backed off and continued to throw insults at Dan he ignored them.
"Nice one Dan" Ron grinned "finally someone has put him in his place, at least for now." Ron said
"Yeah" Dan replied "he's got a huge ego but now he'll at least leave me alone but idk about you guys let know if he becomes unbearable." Dan said winking
"Malfoy has always been unbearable since day one." Hermione laughed along with Ron and Harry and eventually Dan he thought to himself
These guys are really nice I hope in time I can reveal my true self to them.
But he was pulled out of his thoughts by an angry snape in potions class
"Daniel what is the meaning of this you should be expelled for what you have done." Snape hissed
Dan stood up
"Well lemme tell you one thing you greasy haired git when someone gets cocky and needs to be put in his place." Dan said calmly
"Well you will have 250 points taken from Gryffindor." Snape glared
"Well tough luck because honestly I couldn't give a toss but oh well." Dan said before he got on with his potion
The Gryffindors in the class looked at Dan in awe as he clearly wasn't someone to mess with.
It was strange to note that Dan took one look at the board and brewed his potion without ever looking up again he had only looked for a brief second or 2 and his potion turned out
In the evening somewhere in muggle London
A hooded figure with a shotgun and many hacking devices and spy equipment was scaling some buildings he was looking for a person that was spotted armed with Uzi 9mm
He found the target in a pub and chose a stool far away so he wouldn't be spotted he ordered a shot of whiskey and gulped it down and just as he finished it the target subtly pulled out his gun and turned off the saftey mechanism (this is so the gun doesn't accidentally trigger and fire a shot) the hooded figure pulled out his shotgun and fired it in the air causing everyone to crouch in fear before he began dodging the targets weapon and firing himself when the window was open he threw a bottle of beer which hit the target in the chest causing him to since and the figure got up and fired 3 shots before he confirmed the target neutralized he quickly did a memory wipe on everyone before disappearing at least no one got hurt.
Back at Hogwarts in the morning
Harry woke up and saw Dan doing weight lifting
"Morning" Dan said panting a bit he was sweaty the weights read blimey 20kg
"Errr morning do you do this daily then." Harry asked curiously
"Keep me in shape for the ladies." He said smirking before winking "Nah I enjoy it." Dan said smiling
Harry nodded before getting dressed
"So Harry gotta girl on your mind." He said grinning
"Yeah I like Cho Chang." He said embarrassed then he grinned "What about you." He said
Dan paled a bit
"Well Er-rm ya can't tell anyone or you'll be a dead man mate." He said
"Ok go on" harry gestured
"Don't think I'm weird but I kind of have a thing for Ginny right now" he said grinning
"Gin" harry said shocked
"No I'm Dan" he replied jokingly
"Oh shut up" harry said smirking
"Oi what's the occasion" Ron said groggily
"Nothing of your concern mate." Dan said winking at harry.
"Right well I'm hungry so hurry up lads." Ron said
At the welcoming feast
"Now that you are all fed and watered." Dumbledore said
Dan whispered "we're human beings not mules mate."
Ginny giggled at that and so did everyone in the vicinity who heard what Dan said
"Now for the tournament the window for entering is open for 24 hours before the goblet shall make it's choice this tournament is not for the faint hearted, now due to the difficulty of these tasks and don't forget the danger nobody under the age of 17 may enter" Dumbledore announced This was met with many groans and shouts from younger students
"Now I know you are disappointed but I think it is time for bed now off you trot" Dumbledore said
"Welp guess we aren't entering then." Harry said
"Oh well snooze ya lose." Dan said
When they got back to the common room they all said goodnight to the girls before heading back to their dorm
But Dan was having a nightmare about an hour after they went to bed
In the nightmare
He was in a room all white when suddenly the walls became rotten and had blood all over them
"Why are you keeping your identity hidden from your friends" a demonic voice said
"Because of they new then I would suffer the consequences you know that in the news they were reporting how nobody rembered a shooting happening but they found the entire pub destroyed from gun shots."
"You call yourself a double agent well your pathetic your parents ditched you when you were born and you were raised by criminals taught in the ways of crime but you resisted and you're are forgetting that you where only 5 when you first killed a man you're pathetic you should never have been born!" The demonic voice spat
"NO!" Dan shouted before being ripped from the nightmare
He was cold and sweating he was only grey bottoms and a vest but he didn't care he headed down into the common room and noticed a mane of red hair that he knew to be Ginny's he spoke just loud enough for her to here
"So your down here for the same reason then huh." Dan said smiling
Ginny turned round and she was staring intently at his body his muscles definetly were in shape he looked fit she had recently developed feelings for Dan especially his dirty blonde hair and his blue eyes that where a tinge darker than most
"Yeah I had a nightmare." Ginny said
Dan sat down next to her "same wanna talk about it" he asked
"Not really I just wanna forget it."
She said before she driver off to sleep Dan went and slept on the couch in the common room as he to was tired so he could think was
