ADAM DANIELS POV
I walk into the school yard of my new school dressed in my black leather jacket, white v-neck that shows my six pack, black skinnies and my black converse. I don’t know why my family even moved here. we were perfectly find in Nebraska. ya, im a cowboy at heart but I don’t want anybody here in California knowing that. theyd humiliate me so im just going for the badass look so they don’t messs with me. I don’t want friends here. or a girlfriend.
Walking up to the lady at the front desk, mrs Henderson, she gives me a sweet smile and hands me a schedule without even talking to me. walking over to my locker in the east wing of the senior building, I feel somebody bump into my tall 6’9 figure. I look down to see the most beautiful blonde girl I have ever seen. blonde hair that goes down to her waist, sparkiling and enchanting blue eyes, beautiful full lips, thin baby lashes, long toned tan legs, perfect curve and cute smile.
“sorry. I wasn’t looking where I was going. im Mckenna” she says outsretching her hand. sweet, no nialpolish, even her voice it musical.
“sorry, im lost trying to find my locker. adam” I say shaking her soft hand. feeling instant shocks and tingles through my skin.
“ill see you around” she says flashing me a gorgeous smile and walking away. I walk to my locker and the day goes by uneventfully. I was by myself at every table but girls were throwing themselves at me and offering to walk me around but I always refused, still enchanted by mckenna.
after school I walk home and as I enter my house, I get engulfed ina hug by my baby sister emma.
“hey ems. how was 8th grdae?” I ask curioiusly \. I love my sister more then anything. my wolf agreed with me.
“good. can we go for a run?” she ask.she just shifted so I try to take her on as many runs as possible to get her used to her wold form.
“sure kiddo. ill see you behind a tree” I tell her as I drop off my back pack and meet her aurburn wolr and shifting into my midnight black wolf, they color of both our fur. we both share the same deep grass green eyes. we run and run until we reach a clearing 12 miles away from out house. me and emma crouch down on the trees borderline of it and emma falls asleep. im happy she finally exhausted herself enough to not keep chattering in my mind. looking at emma for awhile I just look at her now and think of when we were growing up, her first bully, her first crush, when she burnt the cookies for her friends birthday and I had to end up making them, and when I told her about werewolve and mates and our other life, and finally when we had THE TALK. awkwardent moment ever for a 16 year old boy to talk to his little sister about that stuff. I enede up having our neighbor talk to her halfway through because she asked to many questions I felt uncomfortable having to answer.
suddenly im knocked out of my thoughts when a hear a twig snap inside of the clearing and see the most beautiful wolf I have ever seen chasing abutterfly and trying to chomp down on it. she was midnight black like mine except she have a red tail and red spots scattered ina few places. she was beautiful.
“mate” my wolf yelled at me. being the male that I am, I walk into the clearing, tackle her to the ground, hover over her and nuzzle her neck, inhaling her intoxicating scent of vanilla and the woods. mhmm!
“shift” she mind links me and shifts from beneath me, revealing McKenna. I shift and hover over her. she gasps and a small smile grazes her lips and she puts her hands on either side of my neck and brins my head down so she can whisper…. “’mate” in my ear, leaving her warm minty breath in its trace.
“a..a..adam” I hear emma stutter..
“yea ems?” I say turning to look at he but keeping mckenna under me.
“wh.. who is that” she says, fear slearly written across her face.
“ emma. this is my mate. I just found her.” I say, seeing her visibly relax and a smile spread across her face as she realized the same thing I did, my little sister was finally going to have a sister.
MCKENNAS POV
I just found my mate and he is gorgeous! being under him felt so right, like life was perfeclt complete. looking over his shoulder I saw his little sister who was the cutest thing in the universe smile tremendously whens he heard I was Adam’s mate. I coulnmt help but grin just as greatly when I realized I would finally have a sister.
AAdam looked down at me smiling and I saw his eyes fill with love when he saw me smiling at the fact of bonding with emma.
adam leaned down and pecked my nose softly, and I couldn’t help but whimper when he leaned back and I heard him chuckle.
“come on, not in front of my baby sister” he whispered.
“get off of me and ill introduce myself properly.” I say
I heard him groan and get off of me as I stood up and walked over to Emma.
“your adams mate?” she says taking steps for me
“we just recently discovered it and yes” I say walking towards her too only to have her rush into my arms and hug the breath out of me but I hugged hger back just as hard.. she can up to my chest so it was a little weird but it was okay. she started crying and when I pulled back to look at her I saw that they were tears of joy. I laugh lightly and hug her again and feel adam wrap his arms around us. I snuggle my head into adams shoulder and feel his arms tighten around me and my arms tighten around emma, only in resonse to have her tighten hers around me.
“Emma want to go get ice cream?” I ask
“yes!” she squeals
“adammmmm” I say drawing out his name
“Lets get back to my house and ill drive us” he says letting go of the hug but keeping is arm around my waist while emma stands next to me holding my hand.
“YAY!” me and Emma jump up and down clapping while adam laughs at us. we all end up laughing and start walking to adams. ive never been there before considering he just moved here…
I look up to see his house is a one story bungalow style but its really cute and has his motorcycle and a 69’ mustang in the drive way.
