Up above you will see a picture of the necklace each warrior will get. There are several uses for this charm. But, first and foremost, please understand that this is an item that you must keep on, at all times, and once it's on, it cannot be removed off your person by anyone other than yourself, and me(Apollo).
Perhaps the most important use for this pendant is it's ability to allow you to communicate with your fellow warriors. When you will it, you will have the ability to speak (in your head) to anybody else that wears one of these necklaces. Merely think 'speak to [insert their name] and you will be able to 'talk' to them. Yes, you can do 'group chats', just think multiple names. If you want all of the warriors, replace the names with 'the warriors.'
Another use of this charm is it allows me to track you. That means, if any of you gets separated from the other warriors I will be alerted and come to find you and return you to the group. It also lets me know where you are, without having to search, for a couple minutes.
The third use this necklace has is quite useful, as well. It acts like a cloaking device. Since most of you will probably be demigods, I expect that your scent would be quite tempting to any monster, near by. Therefore, the necklace cloaks your scent and means that the monsters can't track you. That doesn't mean that they can't hear you, so only have parties when you're sure you won't be overheard by a stray monster.
The forth, and my personal favorite, use for this necklace is this. When you tap the center of the sun you will be dressed in your normal fighting clothes (like how it's camo for the hunters). The outfit will be slightly different depending on the style of the person, but expect cargo pants of some sort and a brown leather jacket. If you tap the center twice, you will be dressed in your more formal outfit, which looks a lot like the guy on the cover, ironically.
That's it! A very handy object to keep on. I do encourage you to decorate it with beads and things. The next chapter will talk about the Elite.
