Ch. 1

Kylie's POV

"Sweetie are you ready to go? We're going to miss our flight!" My mom yelled.

"Yes! I'll be down in a minute!" I said.

I grabbed my bag and phone and headed downstairs. I couldn't believe we were going to move across the world to Australia! All because my dad got transferred! I mean don't get me wrong, I've always wanted to visit Australia but not live there! I have my friends here. I love Florida! It's so pretty here! Now I'm going to have to start all over again! I got downstairs and my mom and dad was waiting for me. We walked outside to the taxi that was waiting for us to take us to the airport. I hopped in and pulled out my phone. I had a text from my best friend Kassie. It said

"Girl! I'm going to miss you so much! What am I going to do without you? I have no other friends but you! I wish I could go with you! Just promise you won't forget about me! I love you bae!"

"Aww! I'm going to miss you to! But don't worry maybe I'll be able to come visit you soon! And I'll never forget about you! I love you too<3!!" I replied.

"So are you excited?" My dad asked me.

"I guess. I'm leaving every thing I've loved be-hide." I said putting my headphones in.

I put my songs on shuffle and listened to them until we pulled up to the airport. We got out and I grabbed my bag. Wow it's pretty busy today! We walked in and up to the front desk. My dad got our tickets and came back over to us and said

"Ok I got our tickets but we have a problem. Only two of us can sit together and then the third person will have to sit by them self."

"You and mom can sit together. I'll sit alone." I said.

"Are you sure?" My mom asked.

"Yeah! I'm not two anymore." I said grabbing my ticket.

We walked over to the waiting area and sat down. About 10 minutes later they called our flight. We all got up and boarded the plane. I hugged my mom and dad and sat down in my ally by the window. I put my headphones in and got comfortable. I might as well go to sleep. This is going to be a long flight. For what seemed like forever has pasted someone started shaking my shoulder. I pulled my head phones out and looked up. It was my mom. She smiled and said

"We're here sweetie!"

i grabbed my bag and got off the plane. We walked over to the where the bags would be dropped off. We got all our bags and I looked at my phone. It was 3pm. I followed be-hide my parents and we walked outside to find a taxi. Right away my dad found one and we got in. About 30 minutes later we we're in Sydney, Australia. It was more beautiful then I thought. We then got out of the city and entered a really nice looking neighborhood. We passed a school, park and some little shops. We then pulled into a house that was two stores high. It was so pretty! I loved it! I got out and ran to the door. I opened it and it had everything in it already. My parents came in and closed the door be-hide them. My mom then said

"So do you wanna see your room?"

"YES!" I said screaming.

We walked upstairs and to the end of the hall. My mom opened the door and I walked in. It was amazing! It had the colors purple and black and they worked together so well! There was a bed in the middle of the room with fluffy pillows and blankets. Then in the cover there was a cover table with a brand new computer and a cool little lamp. I then looked up and the ceiling was the best! It had a chandelier! I turned to my mom and said

"Are you serious?!?"

"Yeah! I hope you like it! I'm gonna go help your dad downstairs with some stuff and then I got to start dinner soon so explore the house or got outside and try to make some friends!"

I walked over to my bed and sat down. I'm never going to make any new friends! I'm just to weird and awkward for anyone to be my friend. I mean it is a nice day outside so I could go out there. I grabbed my phone and headed downstairs and out the door. Oh! I could facetime Kassie! I turned my phone on and clicked Kassie's name. With in minutes she answered and said

"KYLIE! HIIII!! I MISS YOU!"

"Calm down! I miss you to! So what you doing?" I asked getting on the side walk.

"Just sitting here bored. Where are you?" Kassie asked.

"I'm in Australia! I just left the house to go on a walk. Oh Kassie it's so pretty here! I really wish you could have moved with me!"

"Same girl same! Well hey sorry to go so fast but I gotta go help my mom with something!" Kassie said waving bye to me.

Well what am I suppose to so now? Guess I'll go back to the house. I walked back in and my parents we're in the kitchen talking about something. I walked up to my room and turned on the tv. All the channel's we're different and I didn't know any of these shows! UGH! I turned off the tv and went over to my computer. I logged on youtube and decided to watch videos. Before I knew it I heard my door open and they said

"Hey! It's time for dinner!"

I turned around an saw my mom and said "What time is it?"

"It's umm...6:20pm." My mom said leaving the room.

Did I really watch videos for that long? Wow! I didn't even notice! I turned my computer off and walked downstairs and smelled chicken. YUM! I grabbed a plate full of food and sat down. I then started eating my food. My mom then said

"So are you ready for your first day of school tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow? Tomorrow's Friday. Why can't I just wait until Monday to start?" I asked.

"Because I've already called the school and set everything up! Your dad will be taking you to school tomorrow and then when you get there you have to go to the office and get your schedule and stuff. Then they will get someone to show you around." My mom said.

"Fine." I said eating my food.

When I was done I put my plate in the sink and headed upstairs to my room. I looked at the clock and it was almost 7. I went into my bathroom and decided to take a shower. I took one and brushed my teeth and then put my pj's on. I went back over to my computer and got on Facebook. When i logged on I went on my wall and saw Kassie posted literally a paragraph on how much she'll miss me and so on. She's crazy. I then commented on it and said

"I'll miss you too! I love you bae!"

I turned my computer off and went over to my bed. I grabbed the remote and turned the tv on. I randomly put it on a channel and watched it. Hours later I looked at the clock and it was 10. I better get to bed. I have school tomorrow. I put my phone on the charger and turned my tv off. Well I hope tomorrow goes well.
