Hello, everyone, and welcome to "Exo-tic". Please, keep in mind that, as I write this, I'm not ENITRELY sure on the personalities of ALL the Exo Members. Just a few and I know that there are different experiences on being black in South Korea. Some hate it, some love it, some are bad, and some are good. I'm going to try and be as realistic as I can while I write this. Also, her nickname is pronounced "Shy". Enjoy!

"Congratulations! You won!"
"Of course I did." Grumbling, I spun around in my ebony computer chair and rest my palm on my mouse. While brushing unruly curls out of my view, my hazel eyes darted across the computer monitor, searching for the exit button on the tab. The last thing I needed was a virus on my computer and I was not about to go into the family room to use that lameold desktop from the 90s. Perhaps I shouldn't say lame, but it's old enough to only have Windows Vista. I'd rather stick with my Windows 7, even if it isn't far off. I brought my knees to my chin and wrapped my left arm around my legs while my right was eing occupied by the mouse. "Now where is it-- Oh?"
Just before my cursor hovered over the "X" button to close out the tab, a three letter word had caught my eye proventing me to do so. E-X-O. Intrigued, my curiosity spiked at the mention of my favorite SM Entertainment Kpop Idols. Sure, SNSD was good and I did happen to be obsessed with SHINee for quite some time, but Exo will ALWAYS, and I do mean ALWAYS, be my bias. My legs sank back to the ground as I leaned in closer to my computer, reading every word before and after "Exo" carefully.
"Congratulations to Cheyenne Johnson for winning our Drama Fever Kpop International contest." I recited aloud. Tingles rippled throughout my body like waves in an ocean at the mention of my name. Thinking back, I remember submitting my application to the website in December, hoping to win and go sightseeing in South Korea. "You, and two friends, are invited to a one in a lifetime chance at a free trip to Korea with a band of your choice. There, you will be welcomed by the manager and taken to the dorms where there will be a vacant room waiting for you. However, you will need to provide your own supply of cash before, and during your stay in Korea, in addition the free 200 dollars worth of Korean Currency as this isn't enough to sustain living in the foreign country as long as three to four months. Let us know ASAP that you have received this message for more details such as departure dates, and airport locations."
My mouth hung open in utter shock at the fact that I had actually won the Drama Fever Trip Giveaway contest-- whatever it was. I'm going to be living in the Exo Dorms? While in Korea? After being picked up by the Manager? Somebody pinch me, I must be dreaming! I shot up out of my chair, squealing my head off and spinning around like a complete lunatic before falling on my bed.
"I have got to call Vinnie." I rolled over and grabbed hold of my phone that had been underneath my bunny pillow, and swipped my phone open. Vinnie was definitely going to be one of my galpals while we lived it up in South Korea. She's the one that had gotten me so obsessed with Exo in the first place! It's the least I can do for someone who introduced me to such a wonderful sight. After tying my hair in a bun, I brought my phone to my ear as it dialed.
"Hello?" Her melodic voice answered. The sound of pots clashing could be heard in the background of the call. She was probably working with the family again, now that we were graduates. Her family owns their own Chinese Resturant and while she doesn't plan on inheritting the shop, she still helps out whenever she can before she takes off for college for Veternarian Studies.
